This hack is to control the attachment download, the user must be registerd so he will be able to get the cttached file. The number of minimum topics of the user to allow hem download can be seted up by the forum admin.

:D

There is already a way to control who can and cannot download attachments via a setting in the usergroups. How is this different?

I don't know if you're right or wrong because I can't understand what you're saying.

I've been using this for about a week. Works ok for me and a few others. However, here is my problem. I set it to FIVE, so they must partcipate in 5 posts. But, some members with 147+ posts aren't able to view pics. Any idea why? They are getting the message I made saying you must have so many posts etc. Please help .. thanks.

I want to install this hack, but have a question. If I don't want the registered person to have to have any posts, but just be registered can i just change the 5 to a 0 and still have it work?

Gutspiller 01-05-2002 07:14 PM

ECK! This hack does not work if you have it put the images right into the posts. crap! Make it so that it gives an error message when they can't see the images in the post and then I will reinstall it. I don't know aboot you people but I hate making my users click each link just to see a picture. :(

Is it possible to config this hack to only work with certain forums?? So for example you want this to be enabled in Gernal Chat, but not in a For sale section?
