What is this mod all about?
Large board normally prefer to host images externally. That's why we wrote this plugin to REPLACE the vBulletin upload function with a IMGUR.com API function. What it does is replace the image upload icon on the top left of the editor with functionality to upload images to imgur.com and place the image in the editor. This includes Drag&Drop functions

Note: You need to register your application on imgur.com and set the ClientID in the settings!

How to install:

- Download the zip file below

- Upload the content of the zip to: core/packages (this will result in a the path /core/packages/duckwaysimgur

- Go to settings and save the Duckways: Imgur upload settings with your ClientID. Get one by registering a new application on the Imgur API!

Not yet, I'm afraid. But we already had multiple inquiries for a vBulletin 4 version of this mod. I'll see if we can make one soon.

Does it work on 5.3.4 ?

You should upgrade to 5.4.2

5.3.4 was released back in November and there have been many bug fixes and improvements since then.

Succesfully tested on 5.3.2 and up :)

Quick question. When the picture is up loaded, is it rendering it in BB Code fashion?

I know this doesn't have to do with vbulliten, but pictures loaded this way won't show up on an App that my board is also on, but it loads them when the usual img /img is used.

Could you try our other image hosting plugin for Picr.me? Sounds like an issue with ImgUR blocking the app instead of an bbcode implementation.. If Picr.me works it's a ImgUr related issue.

Can you force imgur upload to specific usergroups only? As an admin, I'd like to continue uploading images to my server.

Is it possible to have two icons? One for local upload and one for imgur?

VB 5.6.0 here, I could not make this mod working.

This has stopped working in 5.6.2 Patch Level 1 for Microsoft Edge. Still works for Chrome and Brave, which is odd as all three are Chromium based browsers.

I am not able to get this to work anymore in 5.6.6. I'm getting "Invalid Geometry" errors when uploading images.

The Uninstall in the admincp will not remove the product either. Anyone know what's going with that?
