hello , i want to change favicon of my forum , i added it to forum directory , but nothing changes , and i can't see the favicon via link ,, how i can fix it ?

usually it's yourdomain.com/favicon.ico

refresh it in your browser and you should see the new icon.

i think is not working properly

example if i will check like this:
example//favicon.ico - it will work fine

but if like this example/favicon.ico , nothing changes

why ?

For me three times that I made changes it took about 1-2 days to show up the new one.
Its cache condition and server responsibility.

no it's not, it's just your browser. overwrite the old one and call the new favicon via link 1 time and you've got it.

link? We can tell you what we see. Those favicons gets cached by your browser and they like to stayed cached for a couple of days.

Yesterday I saw the lighter image, today I see the image that supposed to be
as Lynne sees. You are ok, That's what I said above, it made to me 1-2- days, regardless of cache or what else :D
