Prosperent Suite

Prosperent is an advertising network that partners with over 40,000 of the top online retailers. We have been around since 2009 and work with over 18,000 web site owners. Our tools allow you to earn a commission from products your forum visitors are already purchasing through links on your site.

This plugin contains the following tools from Prosperent:

ProsperShop- Create a shop on your blog filled with products relevant to your site content. Search over 50 million products from 2,000 of the largest online retailers. Everytime a product is purchased, you earn a commission for the sale. It's a great way to add value to your forum and earn some extra revenue.

ProsperLinks- Your forum users are posting links to retailers all the time. Our plugin turns those links into affiliate links. Now, you earn a commission anytime a visitor purchases a product. Turn the traffic you are already sending off of your site into money with this simple plugin. We currently support over 40,000 retailers.

This suite will give you everything you need to easily start making money with your forum.

Why choose Prosperent?

We are here for you- We are always around to answer questions, office guidance and make sure you have everything you need to make a living online.
Traffic optimization- Our algorithm's are always making sure every click you send us goes to the HIGHEST PAYING and HIGHEST CONVERTING merchant at that moment.
Size- Because of our high volume, we work with the best Retailers and negotiate the highest commissions out there. Yes, we take a percentage of each commission (30% by default) instead of charging you a monthly fee, but because of our size, we more than make up for that with higher commission rates.
Automatic access to top Retailers - Once you sign up with us (for Free), you have access to over 40,000 retailers that we work with.
Clean data- We clean the data feeds and resize images while serving it all from our global Content Delivery Network which means the images on your site load lightning fast at all times
Big data- We have mountains of conversion data. We know which merchants are converting, the brands that are hot, and the products that sell at various times throughout the year. We crunch all of this data and give you access to it all.
Limitless and fast!- We handle over 8 billion requests per month with no signs of slowing down. Fire off a request to our api, search tens of millions of products, and get back results within a few milliseconds.
Join for free- All of our competitors charge you a monthly fee to access their data and tools. We don't! Plain and simple, if you don't make money, we don't make money.

Installation

You'll need an account at Prosperent, it is completely free, and quick to sign up. Once you have an account, continue on to the installation steps below.

Installation is as easy as uploading the files inside the upload folder to your root directory, importing the product xml file, and editing a few options.

First, go into the ProsperentSuite.zip and upload all the files inside the upload folder to your vBulletin root directory.

Second, import the product-prosper_suite.xml file into the Products and Plugins in your Admin Backend.

Third, go to Settings -> Options -> Prosperent Suite Settings and add a few settings, with the only required one being your vBulletin Key.

Question

If you have any questions, concerns or ideas, post them here or in our forum at vBulletin Plugin Suite.

Here is a live example of the store running on a default vbulletin theme: http://www.highaltitudeimports.com/product.php

This site has no category filters, so you can search for any product. The plugin does allow you to restrict the products to a specific set of categories, or even stores so you can create a very narrow niche shop if you prefer.

bosanci28 08-26-2015 01:52 AM

Hmm, Now i am really confuse...

So we get 70%, he gets 30% , how about the company that the specific product is theirs , what they make? Or am i missing something?

RichieBoy67 08-26-2015 03:52 AM

It is like an affiliation. You get a commission from each sale and they get 30%.

lapiervb 08-26-2015 08:32 AM

Sounds like skimlinks or viglink to me. How is this plugin different?

Hi, great question. Viglink and Skimlinks both do link affiliation. In other words, they turn ordinary links to retailers into affiliate links. We do that as well for almost 50,000 retailers: http://prosperent.com/merchants/all

Where we differ is that we also offer products. We take product data from about 2,000 retailers and aggregate it into a big product search engine. That's the shop portion of this plugin. Your forum users can go to your shop and search 50,000,000 product from some of the top retailers out there. When someone purchases one of the products, you earn a commission.

If you already use skimlinks or Viglink, you can still use this plugin to add a store to your forum.

Hi, are you familiar with affiliate marketing? If not, this is basically how it works. We have relationships with almost 50,000 retail stores. We have worked out deals with each of them in which they pay us a commission each time a product is sold. The commission varies from merchant to merchant, but whatever is earned, our company pays you 70%. You can see a list of our merchants here: http://prosperent.com/merchants/all

So by installing your plugin, and submitting a keyword... your plugin populates based on that keyword all the forum.com/store ... with products from all those retail stores?

Thanks,

Thanks,

The plugin connects to our product api and pulls back the most relevant, top selling products at that moment for the given keyword you supply. This way the prices are up to date, and old, out of stock products disappear. The products and pages will get indexed on your forum and become a source of additional traffic for you. I have been running a store on my personal automotive forum for over 4 years now, and overall have earned over $14,000 from people purchasing products.

We have over 18,000 customers using our plugins, and serve up over 8 Billion api requests for products each month.

Is this also available in German and for german retailers?

Right now this is only for U.S retailers on the shop side. The plugin will still turn links to German retailers (and retailers across the world) into affiliate links that earn you money, the store portion of the plugin however is focused on US products for now. We do have plans of expanding to other countries down the road.

I think your product needs a bit of tweaking to filter out outrageous/invalid offers.

$574 for a wii controller, especially if it looks anything like the one in the picture is definitely price inflation to the extreme. Also notice how the others tend to average in at under $10.

friendlymela 10-01-2015 03:22 AM

Is this work with google ads ? because i think google are not allowing third party advertisement etc

Prosperent.com 10-01-2015 01:26 PM

Google doesn't allow some other contextual banner ads. This isn't a banner ad, but rather an actual store added to your site with real products. We have several thousand users running Adsense ads along side our tools. :)

We import millions of products from merchant feeds. All of the prices/descriptions and keywords come from the merchant so that happens from time to time. Clicking through to that merchant, the price of the controller is really $7.99 so it was just a misprint in that merchant's feed.

I love the idea of this and want it to work, however, I am experiencing a few problems. First off all, when I have the product installed, it messes the alignment of certain things on the home page, for example the photo gallery and the forum sideblocks. The sideblocks get moved right down at the bottom right of the page(see first photo):

Attachment 153496

Secondly, I get these errors that come up in the product.php area. Note: I used hockey as the starting query(see second photo)

PHP Warning: Memcache::pconnect(): Can't connect to 127.0.0.1:11211, Connection refused (111) in ..../prosperSuite/includes/models/prosperMemcache.php on line 21

PHP Warning: Memcache::get(): No servers added to memcache connection in ..../prosperSuite/includes/models/prosperMemcache.php on line 46

Attachment 153497

And finally, if I do a search, I get this pho warning in a white screen:

PHP Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at ..../prosperSuite/includes/prosperLinks.php:3) in ..../prosperSuite/includes/models/Search.php on line 79

Thanks in advance for you help.

mapleleaffans 10-14-2015 12:17 AM

Note: This matter is being looked after via email, thank you.

Prosperent.com 10-14-2015 01:56 PM

We will get you sorted, thanks for reaching out to us. The first issue is that the memcached setting is enabled, but your server doesn't have memcached installed (just so anyone else with the warning knows what is wrong). The alignment issues looks to be theme specific. We will get that taken care of for you :)

Prosperent.com 10-14-2015 05:13 PM

These two warnings have been fixed in version 1.2.1. Thank you for letting us know about these so we could get them fixed.

I did find one more problem on the forum home page. When you click on a thread link, you get this php error. Other than that, the product is awesome!:

PHP Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at ..../prosperSuite/includes/prosperLinks.php:3) in ..../includes/functions.php on line 4381

Turned out to be a slight problem with my theme that was easily and promptly fixed by Brandon of Prosperent. Thank you guys for the help here and via email!

Is anyone making money from this other than the op?

I understand we get 70% of the commission but what is the commission percentage? What are the minimum payouts? Are we paid through Paypal?

justasiam 05-11-2016 07:20 PM

I installed this on my vBulletin Suite 4.2.3.

I see the product search option. Is that all I get for this mod? Or can I add specific products and categories?

justasiam 05-15-2016 10:03 PM

Does anybody have an answer to my question?

Is this even supported?

From what I can see, you can make some exclusions in the AdminCP and on the site of this plugin author. It's all hosted on a third party.

justasiam 05-18-2016 03:03 AM

Well, that's not what I asked. I want something that allows me to build an online store with Amazon and eBay products. All I get right now is a search box.

Will this addon allow me to do this?

VIP Hawaii 05-19-2016 08:39 AM

Will this version also work on VBulletin 3.8.4. PL2 ?

No, it would not...I took a quick look at the source code and it would definitely require porting (since the product is not marked as re-usable, the author of this product is the only one who would be authorized to do so).

So I guess this mod is dead. Why is it not in the graveyard?
