1.- What's this?

xxxMates is a vBulletin AddOn for those who are operating erotic communities. It adds to your community dating functionallity for members looking partners for sex. Being addon does not means that it misses features from sites like AdultFriendFinder.com. Instead with the help of vB forums and other addons you can build a much more active community than just dating sites.

2.- Features

Uses the user profile page to display the erotic data (eg Gender, Sexuality, Loooking for, What I like etc etc).
Depending on usergroup permissions members who are offering Escorting services can add more details (eg Price, Contact details, Working Hours etc).
Browse by Gender
Browse by Location
Basic Search
Advanced Search (almost in all profile fields)
Save Search criteria for future use
Restore Search
Escorting services can Turn On/Off at any time
Smart profile listing to avoid fights. You can't see profiles if you don't meet the profile's owner requirements. eg If a woman is seeking a woman and you're a Man, her profile will be hidden from your eyes.
Who has viewed my profile listing (with counter to check if someone visits your profile in regular basis)
Who has added my profile as Favorite
My Favorites Profiles
Hide/Activate Profile
Report profile
Random Member profiles block in homepage
Random Escorts in homepage
User Menu block in sidebar
Just Join us block in sidebar
Profiles by Gender statistic block in sidebar
Email to member on profile Approval
Email to member on profile Rejection
Email to member on profile Deletion (When someone reports the profile and Admin accepts the report).
Brand Free! No copyright links in page footer.

Access xxxMates Pages
View Profile data
Post Profile
Post Escort relevant data
Contact Member (but this can be bypassed from other sections eg Forum posts).
Profile needs authorization (If set to No profiles from members on this usergroup will go active without Admin check)
Moderator permissions

Download latest release
Upload xxxmates_usercp.php
Import (optional) product_xxxmates.xml to update version number

I've moved servers and I'm in the process of installing the demos again. Have finished with the others and now I'm installing xxxMates. I left it for last as its more complicate as I need to install one more style.

I've a real general dating but no time to support many mods. In a total I've more than 30 mods for vB4. The reason that I released this one is because it uses as profile page the native vB profile, while the other uses a seperate page something that some users didn't liked it. Otherwise the other has much more features.

Do you mean to place Ads in your site? I don't think so, unless if you specify your site as "Adult" so the Ads should be on relevant content.

But everything depends on how you'll use this mod. For example I've used it as main content so my site for sure is an Adult site. Even the template that I'm using (see it at: http://www.teriakis.com/vb423/erotic.php?styleid=3) is restricted for Google. But if you use it as part of your community, with a standard theme and also moderate the photos that users will upload to prohibit naked content I don't believe that you should have any problem.

Hi NickTheGreek, love this mod but having a problem with approving new profiles. When I click on the Approve Profile link I get sent to my 404 page. I check all the setting and even reloaded all the files but no luck in solving the problem. All other links and pages are working just fine

OK, xxxmates.php is in the modcp/ directory. See the attached screen shot to see the improper URL (down at bottom of pic last <li> entry) that is coded into the template: xxxmates_sidebar_profile

So should I manually edit the template to xxxmates.php ?

Hello Giorgo,

1.- Import the attached xml file to remove the old link from usercp.
2.- You can access the Moderator's menu only from Modcp. See the attached screeshot to locate this link.
