Can't access Ozzmodz.com
Hello,
Can anyone tell me if he can access http://ozzmodz.com/ ? A couple of days ago I was getting the message that the site is inactive to upgrade, then I was able to acess it, but after some hours (~48 hours now), I can't see anything, like the site is out of nameservers. Thank you Chris |
Hello Chris,
I was unable to access the site a few days ago, but now it is running fine on my end. |

If Ozzy reads this thread, your site is unavailable from Greece. I've reset my router, I reset IPs in my PC prompt (ipconfig /renew) but still is unavailable. I asked a friend from another city (still in Greece) to do a test and he has the same problem.
I've sent Ozzy a PM at his site with a link to this thread to ensure he is aware of the issue. :)

Same for me, but trying to access from Germany...
We got a new host, and there's some DNS issues still. We're sorry for the issues and hope to have them cleared up soon.
Right now all of Ozzy's sites are down worldwide, I've texted him. Again, really sorry for the trouble.
New machine never got its own nameserver so we were piggybacking off the old one, looks like now possibly, a nameserver has been assigned and the domains need pointed. |
^ Just remember all, when DNS changes are made it can take upwards of 48hours for you to see the new "actual" site, this is referred to as propagation. Usually for me and a few others within an hour or two but overseas you gentlemen may not see Ozzy's sites until tomorrow etc.
As usual, I was wrong. Turns out the host pulled it offline to swap out the CPU. Of course without any notice or warning. Anyway, everything is back up.

Still off for me close to a week now
Give me a couple of more days please. I need to get off my new server and go back to my old one. But I can not do that till one of the sites on there gets transferred to another server.
Just to let you know Chris that the site is still down for me I'm in South Carolina if that makes a difference at all. :)
Have you tried flushing your DNS cache?
Yep flushed dns on my windows 8.1 laptop, cleared cache in the browser, still will not load. Tried Firefox & IE does not work. I'd say you still have a DNS issue on your server. Somewhere its not routing properly. Also i'm not the only person. I directed someone to your site a day ago and they have the same problem as I do.
I have no issues accessing the site in Phoenix. But then again.....Linux.....:)
OS really should not matter if the server is configured correctly then everyone should be able to see it regardless of what they are using/running.
I am able to access it at this time ... I have all day and every day ... weird ..
Works for me. New York City.
Yeah strange for sure. I think it is a DNS issue at my registrar, cause there software has some issues.

Still cannot access the site and I have formatted and reloaded my laptop for other reasons not related to this issue. I also tried on my tablet and no go.

I got some of the best ideas for my site from Ozzy's page :)
This is what I get when I'm on my cell phone. https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/external/2015/08/13.jpg |
Any ideas?
I'll have to take a look at the server when I get a chance, could you pm me your IP so I can make sure it did not get blocked.

No it's up, but there may be a DNS issue. PM me your IP as well, so I can check it when I check out Len's IP.
I have not seen ozzmodz.com down at all , as a matter of fact I am logged in right now browsing there as well ... weird stuff !!

True and your local isp sometimes has to do with this because of their dns cache.
Are you guys using google dns on your pc's? Internet protocol: 8 . 8 . 8 .8 8 . 8. 4 . 4 #Corrected-I had an extra 8 added before. May help Also do a dns flush using your command prompts ipconfig /flushdns |
Flushed it already - formatted and reloaded same thing. Not using google except to search for things online.
