[Request] Rustic Style Clan Theme

1 Attachment(s)
Hi, I was hoping someone might be able to push me in the right direction here, or know of a style that might work for this...

I really like this theme I found on Deviant Art:

http://the-danzor.deviantart.com/art...cept-427332549

That style does not seem to be available anymore though, so i was after maybe something similar to that for a clan website i just set up.

any help is greatly appreciated

That is now this style, http://www.dragonbyte-tech.com/produ...ragonbyte-mmo/

hmm...

thanks for the link....

that style is nice, but quite a bit different from the other one i linked...

not sure if that's quite what we are looking for, but i'll ask the other guys what they think (also open to other suggestions you might have)

thanks

The style I linked you to is by the same developer as the style you were looking at. So other than that one, I know of no others.

You could quite easily create a theme like the one you've linked using the one Ozzy has provided (if you look further back in the artists gallery, you'll see the one Ozzy has linked - he's just customized it for a customer). It just needs custom background work and a few adjustments to resemble the WoW one more closely.

Just a note; if you get someone to do this or try it yourself make sure the background image(s) are compressed so it doesn't take forever to load.

Yeah it would take some tweaking, but it is possible, or try to contact the developer directly.

well i wound up buying that style....

it's very cool.... you can check it out here:
http://centurionsoffrost.com/forum/forum.php

I was having a few issues though.... as it wasn't designed for 4.2.2...

1) the sub-menu there (with new posts/ FAQ / Calendar, etc) is pushed off to the left.... any idea which template that is?

2) The artciles page reverts back to the default style for some reason (even while logged in).

3) minor issue but at the top left "User Name" does not disappear when clicked on.... any idea how to clear that box out?

there's no support for that theme anymore, even though i tried to submit a ticket.

thanks for any help in this (i've been modifying the style slightly, and will keep doing so as i get more familier with vbulletin 4..... it's been too many years since using vb2/3 so i have forgotten much, and much has also changed).

thanks

for sub menu you can add following to addition.css:

Code:

.navtabs ul {
    margin-left: 100px;
}

for the style issue on articles click on the pencil on articles home and set style to inherit.
If you have more then one style make sure to set the default style in options - style and language settings in acp.

but for articles.... i do not see articles.css or content.css in the CSS Templates.... so i'm not sure which one i should edit

awesome man.... you've been so much help.... the forum is starting to look a lot better now....

i hate to ask one more question... but this one bugs me if you know the answer....

if you go here:

http://centurionsoffrost.com/forum/forum.php

and when you click at the top left "User Name" for the login.... it doesn't erase itself.... so you have to manually select and delete "User Name" each time (i know this will bug the users of the site over time)....

thanks again for your help.... i'm trying not to be clueless here.... but it's been a long time since i've used vb2/3 and vb4, while similar is a little harder to use
