Hello can someone help me

All of a sudden my mcg evo chatbox wont work.When you go to put a message in the box it wont post.Everthing looks ok but it wont post any messages

Its like its not loading properly that thing keeps turning round all the time https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/external/2015/01/1.gif

any ideas anyone can i do anything in my files

That usually happens when a conflict between JavaScript files/scripts occur.
Can you link us to your forum and create a test account for us?

And if it relies on a third party, (I haven't checked to see) the third party could be down.

The only JavaScript error I could find is related to the YouTube video in the sidebar. What if you try to remove the video in the sidebar and see if that fixes it?

I have just noticed if i right click on my forum i cant copy anything

how strange could this be something to do with it and how do i fix that

I have noticed these two files in cpanel

mgc_cb_evo.php

mgc_cb_evo_ajax.php

Is there anything i can add to them files to get the chat working.It should have nothing to do with the video link it was working earlier

I managed to produce 0 JavaScript related errors in FireFox and it still didn't load so my guess is that it really is something related to your host, perhaps they are blocking the script because it caused too much load? That usually happens on shared hosting packages.

I have just spoken with my host and they have said there is no block

So now i am more confused than ever.

I did change the name of the php file mgc_cb_evo.php and then i changed it straight back

No that's not the reason, it's something server sided because it seems like everything at the client side is fine. Only the host or someone who has experience with debugging/servers can solve this, we can't do much.

If this started happening out of nowhere while it used to work fine, then it's definitely a server sided issue.

Ok i have uninstalled the mgc chatbox and installed db tech vb shout

Looks very nice and its just under the navbar

This is not the pro version but i would like to make a chat tab on the navbar so when you click it it takes you to the chat.Also is there anyway of making this shout any bigger

On a side note, I just noticed that the drop boxes for font, size, and color all seem to be white - you don't actually see the list of items to chose from until you hover over them. Any way to change, I assume the font color, WITHOUT affecting the rest of my forum? Thanks.
