Was hacked now 404 error when clicking on forums...
blogs, articles, etc. Main index comes up but that is it. Is this a DB issue, or something else?
Here is the error message: Not Found The requested URL /general-discussion/ was not found on this server. Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request. |
Looks like you did not config dbseo right
|
That would be my guess, perhaps the .htaccess
|
I checked the htaccess. I changed the mod and admin folder names, and changed them in htaccess. Not sure if I have to change anything on the back side?
|
I agree that it looks like you haven't updated the .htaccess.
If you'd like I could take a look for you, I've recently installed dbseo on a few forums. I've worked on them in the past, but literally in the last 2 weeks I've set it up on 3 forums, so it's still fresh in my mind. I'm sure it's a quick fix. Shoot me a pm and we can go from there or hit me up on skype: BrandonSheley Regards |
Ok, will contact you thanks! It all worked fine before these damn hackers go in...

Fixed, it was a minor issue with the htaccess file :)
|
Thanks Brandon!!!!

Just wanted to comment back. I noticed when I changed the admin and mod folder names to different names, in htaccess it started crapping out again. When I changed them back to what they were originally admincp/modcp it works fine...
--------------- Added [DATE]1421818022[/DATE] at [TIME]1421818022[/TIME] --------------- I think this thread may have something to do with the changing of the admincp and modcp folder names, anyone having issues or a fix? http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/forum...ry-folder-name --------------- Added [DATE]1421853219[/DATE] at [TIME]1421853219[/TIME] --------------- Just checking to see if anyone has had issues with changing the admincp and modcp names as above... |
Did you change the admincp and modcp directory names in the config.php file also?

And the stuff in the .htaccess is form the DBSEO mod? If it is, perhaps ask Fillip what the trouble may be, as he knows that like the back of his hand. :)
|
OK, Thanks. Do you mean Phillip with a P or F? Link to user?
|
Fillip from DBTech, if the stuff in the htaccess is from the DBSEO mod.
