I made a mistake by putting some adsense code in the place of a forum category, not the the entire list of forum categories and forums have vanished and I am unable to delete the forum made up of code, is there anyway to do this via FTP.

I put it as if I was making a forum category, thinking the banner would show on the home page on list of categories, really stupid I know :)

1. Hard refresh your browser. Or just refresh it. 2. Delete your browser cache & cookies. 3. Go into your AdminCp and go to Maintenance > Clear System Cache that will clear the cache and may bring it back. |

I'm a bit stumped. You may need to try and hire someone to fix it. There are quite a few people on here that might have another idea.
Have you globally disabled your mods just to see if it comes back up? Global disable: open your includes>config.php file and find: Code:
<?php Code:
define('DISABLE_HOOKS', true); If you find that it works after disabling the plugins globally then re-enable the plugins by putting // in front of the code so it looks like this: Code:
//define('DISABLE_HOOKS', true); Then you will have to go through your mods one by one until you find the one that is causing the conflict. |
Did you add this in a template or admincp/Forums & Moderators/Forum Manager

upgraded to the latest version but now am unable to get into the admin just getting:
Warning: date() [function.date]: It is not safe to rely on the system's timezone settings. Please use the date.timezone setting, the TZ environment variable or the date_default_timezone_set() function. In case you used any of those methods and you are still getting this warning, you most likely misspelled the timezone identifier. We selected 'UTC' for 'GMT/0.0/no DST' instead in ..../includes/functions.php on line 4918 I am assuming I will have to take this as a lesson learned and start over lol |
