very slow when replying to a topic

Hello everyone. I'm new in the forum and greetings to everyone.
idont known is here to solve my problem or on vbulletin.com

im using vb.4.2.2 version .

but have some serios problem.

the forum is very slow when replying to a topic.
I do not understand why.
many times the delay is very much coming out double post.

im using a verygood VPS with webmin

please check picture servers to runing my vb.

Check your plugins, big chance a plugin is causing this.

i disabled all plugins... but same.. the problem is same

So creating a thread works fine, but replying to a thread is slow?

Have you tried using a default style to see if this still happens? Have you checked your error_logs (if you don't know where they are, ask your host)? Have you added the following line to your config.php file under the <?php line?:

on creating or all is all ok..

problem is just on answer just on answer ...

maybe my config on apache or msql server is bad?

Maybe you should repair and optimize your tables in the admin control panel > maintenance > Repair / Optimize Tables. Might take a while if you have a big database.

yes lots time i try to Optimize Tables but same is same.

my SQL db. is a 266MB without files atach..

You didn't add the line I told you to add in post 5, nor do you have your plugins disabled.

defult skin all tests.. files missing other skins.

my.site.com/online.php = slow / 6 utenti e 38 ospiti
replay topic = little more faster.
similar thread is on = Plugin/Hook off

i think the problem is on database.

You think it's the database? How large is your database? Do you have a lot of attachments and are they served from the database or the filesystem?

no i think is not a lots the attachments...

attachments = 1,649 / 1,586 totaly
Size File Attachments ALL = 1.03 GB
database.sql (no Attachments) = 269 MB from backup daily
database = 350 MB from phpmyadmin

i dont use the attachments in db forum.

searchcore_text core is a very big... if empty have some problem?

i disabled all plugins on Plugin/Hook System.
i removed Check similar thread before posting a new one from plugins&products.

Similar Threads disabled from ACP

If you empty the searchcore_text table, then you can't search.

Zachery is saying to set AdminCP > Settings > Options > Message Searching > Automatic Similar Thread Search to No.

What is the error from your server error logs? If you don't know where those are, ask your host.

i have a root access..

fix problem internal error = FCGId (run as virtual server owner)

solution working is = CGI wrapper (run as virtual server owner)

in apache2..

Do you have a slow query log? Refer to https://rtcamp.com/tutorials/mysql/slow-query-log/ for more information on how to configure it. Then just look for the /var/log/mysql/mysql-slow.log file.

I thought you disabled your plugins? There are several lines in there regarding the chatbox, autoreply and thanks mod. I don't think those are your problem, but you did say you disabled your plugins and so those shouldn't be in there.

You said you have a VPN so you have access to modify php and mysql settings? If so, then you should post over in the Server Configuration forum at vb.com and see if George can help optimize your server.

I had the same issue long ago
and the issue was due GlowHost - Spam-O-Matic and since i reenabled it the issue appear again
even if i did install the script with last update
and my server has i7 + 48 giga ram so it's can't be server side :)
