adsense into templates.
We wish to monetize the our to the maximum with adsense. In particular we want adsense into our forum and blog templates in a nice neat custom style. This would also include neat coding around the frame sets in all aspects of the forum.
Any help would be appreciated.. |
Are you experiencing issues with the default ad management system?
|
What's wrong with using the ad widgets.

I want to get the actual adsense code into the individual post. Every post by every person I am trying to get the code to show up. I already have banners on each side of the site.. Any ideas??
|
You do know AdSense only allows 3 impressions per page, right?
|
Yes but I see lots of forums with adcode in the individual posts ?? Can this even be done.. ?
|
Can be done with the ad manager...

This is my site:
http://www.corporatefactors.net/forum/ As you can see I have used admanager to get the ads around the forum but I can't get ads in the forum post. |
If you do this with Adsense they'll just flag/ban your account and you won't be able to display any ads. If you do it with another ad company you'll probably get flagged as webspam from Google, and you won't get any traffic. So, there's really no reason to do this unless you want to grenade your site.

You already have 3 ads on that page, putting them in the posts wont do anything.

They'd kill your adsense account at the very least, temporarily
|
Right, so you should not have three ads on the page do not add any to posts. :)

Ok well here is an example of one of my older forums.
I've had ads in the individual threads for years no problems ever. I think I was using the ad manager script back then. Every thread every post has two ads.. http://www.nonbelieverforums.com/for...truce-in-Yemen |
Then you are lucky they did not suspend your account.
Ad limit per page Currently, on each page AdSense publishers may place:
However, keep in mind that placing the maximum number of allowed ad units on a page might result in it looking cluttered. Read our optimization guidelines for tips on where to place your ads. For best practices on custom sized ad units, review our custom-sized ad units page. The above ad limits also apply to mobile sites. In addition, no more than two AdSense ads may appear on the screen at the same time on a mobile site. |
Ok thank you.. I am in the process of dumping this forum anyway.. thanks for those guidelines I will take a look.
