On the 17th of July
 

On the 17th of July about 3:30pm I just came back from leaving my Mum home, I got into the house sat down to watch some of your videos, and 15 mins into watching the last one you posted on the 15th I started to get these pains and a feeling my heart was being squeezed. After a few mins this feeling also started on my back between my shoulder blades, first the pain, then the feeling of being squeezed over the next 20 mins or so it started to get worse with the pain and the squeezing was heavier. The pain was also on my left arm, I did not know what was going on so I called the police non-emergency number to ask them as I did not want to call the emergency number as so many do and for silly reasons and I was only calling to ask a question of what it might be. So after I told the police officer what I was feeling, he said I need an ambulance so he called one for me. About 3 mins later one came well to cut the story short, after getting to the hospital and getting a few tests the doctor told me I had a heart attack, about 30 mins after he told me this I got an op. They put a stent and a balloon in my heart, I spent 6 days in hospital. I know this will be a slow recovery so I will take one day at a time. I am only 43 years old and these last few days have been overwhelming. I will be taking it easy for the next few weeks, maybe even months, so sorry to anyone that needs help like installing plugins, coding etc. etc. I will still help if I can on the forums, but not as much as before for a while as I need to cut down on the stress I hope all understand

Heart issues run rampant in my family especially on my mothers side so many of my family have been through similar, I feel for you.... get well soon Force I hate to hear this.

You be sure to rest, relax and make sure you feel good before doing too much.

Thank you all, I know it will take time to recover and there is a chance it can happen again so taking it easy it the key, but I can answer easy questions on the forums still and will do so in the coming weeks I just hope the time to recover is not months as I really do miss helping people with coding, plugins etc etc

Have you stopped smoking? My issue was not as serious as yours but, it scared me into quiting....

I stopped 7 months ago I get little cravings once or twice a day, sometimes every other day, but they last a split second so it does not bother me now.

Just glad you are alright, now just do what you can in moderation for a bit, don't over do it to early.

I was 33 when my first heart attack happened. I has a quintuple bypass the next day. I have since had a total of 4 more heart attacks, and now am the owner of TEN stents - with the cards to prove it (You will get one too)

As someone with experience with this - here is a piece of advice - DO NOT let it get you down.

Do not feel sorry for yourself, and continue to do the things you love.

Having a close encounter with death can really change a person, but believe me when I say it can make you stronger.
