Change name of Register
 

Hello out there,

So I've been searching abit around, and cannot seem to find exactly, what I'm trying to do.

Basically I am trying to rename the ''register'' to ''get access'' etc.
However I cannot seem to find the template to change that.

I am referring to the button in the header, when you visit without being logged in.

Are you talking about the phrase? You can use the language & phrase manager in the admincp to change this.

If you want to modify the text on that button, go login in your admincp > Language & Phrases > Search in Phrases > search for "register", Phrase Variable Name Only and tick exact match only.

And why would that be? He wants to change a button, not rename the file. I don't think it good practice to practically talk people into installing addons they did not want and ask for.

I possibly misunderstood, and assumed he wanted to do this as a anti-spam modification. Was merely showing him, there is a app for that. Not trying to talk him into anything.

Merely renaming the image will gain him, nothing in the way of spam inhibition. Again assuming that is his aim.

I see a small screenshot of the navbar notice for guests regarding registration... if you want to modify that then depending on your version it should in newer versions of 4.x be in the Notices Manager in the admincp otherwise if an older version of 4.x it will be a phrase you need to edit via the phrase manager in admincp.
