How to increase cell height?

I am customizing my statusicons on my forum. The default folder icons are 48 x 48 pixels.

The new icons I'm adding are 60 x 60 pixels. When applied, they get cut off.

Can someone instruct me on how to increase the height of the cells to accommodate the larger statusicons?

Thanks in advance :)

It's a CSS issue, so a link is necessary.

jasff 06-04-2014 07:18 PM

What do you need a link of? I took the icon down and went back to the default folders.
Let me know specifically what you need a link of and I'll provide it for you.

Thanks again, Lynne.

You can use firebug to find the css, change it or add to additional css. I do not believe that is in style vars.

Thanks Richie. Unfortuantely that is out of my league. Haha

If there was something to adjust, I can figure it out. Anything related to editing programs, I have zero experience/knowledge. Appreciate the response.

Please send me a link.

Oh wait, forum status icons??

Look in stylevars..one sec and I will find exact one..

## forumicon_size

Go to your style and click stylevars.. It is under forum in the stylevars. I think that is what you want.

Hey Richie, is this to only increase the status icon size itself? or will this increase the area that the status icon goes into?

I have 60 x 60 pixel status icons. But they are cut off when I enable them. The cell doesn't expand to accommodate the larger size.

RichieBoy67 06-04-2014 09:03 PM

Did you increase the size in that stylevar to 60?

I'm not postive if this will work or not. There may be css that needs to be changed as well.

jasff 06-04-2014 09:07 PM

No. I only created icons 60 x 60 to use.

I didn't do anything in stylevar. I only tried to use the new icons, but when they appear, they are cut off - not fitting inside the cell.

RichieBoy67 06-04-2014 09:16 PM

Ok then yes, go into the stylevar and change it. I believe default is 48. Just change it to 60 and then clear your cache. I believe this should work.

You are uploading 60 by 60 icons but their img size is set for 48.. That is why they are getting cut off.

jasff 06-04-2014 09:19 PM

I don't know what the size is set for. Whatever the default size is.
Yes, my icons are 60 x 60. When I go into stylevar, what do I need to search/locate this setting?

Also, when I name my icons in the format below, do I have to change 48 to 60 as well?:

Thanks again, Lynne.

I'd need a link to see the icons uploaded on the site so I can see what CSS would need to be changed.

You do not have to rename..

Just go into your admincp, under stleys..under your style click stylevars. The you want is called forumicon_size and it should be listed under forums.

jasff 06-04-2014 09:37 PM

Okay Richie, I as soon as I get home from work tonight I'm going to try this. I will be sure to report back.

Lynne, If what Richie suggest doesn't work, I will give you a link. Fingers crossed :)

Thanks SO much for both of your help.

Wow, that worked perfectly! You rock. Thank you SO much. I can't wait to get all my icons up.
