Thinking really hard about putting up a site on some really cheap host. I just don't know what I'll make the site about or even know what to name it.

What's your hobby? If you look at my place it's about RC multi rotor flying models. I'm pretty good at building the kits and flying them so I started a site about it.
If you have a hobby you're good at you might run with that.

Gary if you really want somewhere, I have a host lying not being used paid up until January 2015, give me a shout!

Also my previous offer still stands, I can throw you on my server.

A really good friend of mine that is also an Amateur Radio Operator suggested I use my call sign for my domain name and just make the site about Amateur Radio and some of the other things i'm involved in. SO, I've rented a server on "JustHost.com" for www.k4gap.com

We'll see how it goes.

When you get that up and running GaryT have I got some questions for you. With all the freqs being used in the RC hobby we need some one to tell us what bands need a license and which don't.

Here is a list of all the Amateur Radio bands (frequencies). A Google search for "RC frequency allocation" will show you what you are limited too.

As a licensed Amateur Radio Operator I have a few more options than someone without the license when it comes to the rc hobbies. But, that's not something to discuss publicly :)

I'm lacking motivation on getting this site laid out and tweaked ....

I'm using my absolute favorite style but can't decide on what direction I want to take with designing the head/logo....

Any suggestions?

I got mine laid out and while laying it out the logo came to me. My advise would be to go ahead and get it set up and then just let it come to you. Inspiration is weird in you never know when it's going to jump up and say howdy. The trick is knowing how to run with it.
