Sql database error

At the same time, where I download sql backup .forum does not work is featured Error database. until the database is downloaded, then Forum again normal working.

You need to check the email that is in your config.php file the error will be sent there

On this line $config['Database']['technicalemail']
If you have not added an email in there yet you would be best to as this is where all DB errors go to

you can try checking server logs either from your cpanel or ask your host

To many connections is a server issue, you need to contact your host. :)

Can't possibly be too many connections on your site, when your stats look like this:

There are currently 20 users online. 2 members and 18 guests

Most users ever online was 161, 02-01-2014 at 04:16 PM.

That's completely insignificant traffic to a server.

It more likely means that the host server has too many connections, possibility that it is either a way oversold shared machine, or it is undergoing a DDoS attack on another site hosted on it. (Or both.)

I mention this for you to tell your host, when they try to blame you which they always do. It's not you.

However you can also help yourself enormously by doing some optimization work. Here's what your site looks like to IE10 browser on fast cable connection.

Part of the problem of using the "fake users" mod is, your host sees the fake stats on your page:

Users active in the past 24 hours

1040 Users have visited the forum. 95 members and 945 guests

And thinks it is true.

The math doesn't add up because below that, you have:

I suggest turning off the fake users Mod when you talk with your host, to avoid the semantic noise that is going to result.

To temporarily disable the plugin system, edit includes/config.php and add this line right under <?php

Then you might be able to get into your forums so you can remove the plugin causing the problem
