FORUMHOME Template Disappeared
 
I am trying to figure out why my FORUMHOME template keeps disappearing...

Went to remove my pagetitle in it and the template is missing!?

Any idea what could cause this?

Does this happen on all styles?
How long has this been happening?

If the template is missing, are you able to see your forum home page, or is it blank?

I can still see the Forum Home page.

I am not sure on time frame. I haven't been in there in a LONG time to edit it. Haha

If you can view the Forum Home page for the site, then the template has not disappeared I would think. :)

That's strange, not sure I have ran across that before. Lets see if it is a mod causing the issue.

Open your includes/config.php file and below<?php add this line:

 define('DISABLE_HOOKS', true); 
So it looks like this:

Then see if the issue still persists.

Maybe I did modify it.. cause the PAGETITLE is missing... which was my end goal... but when I enable all the mods... it seems like it starts using a different FORUMHOME

I wonder if the styles in question are using some sort of custom template for forumhome.

Ok I give up.. removed that line from config.php and now PAGETITLE is still missing..... which is what I want...

Well that is certainly strange. :confused:

Should it happen again, I would contact the style developer and ask them if they might know what is causing it. Because we know:

1) It is not a issue with vBulletin, as it is there in the default template.
2) It is not a issue with a mod, as we tested with them disabled.

Ahhhh... Now its back to the way it was.. Stupid PAGETITLE is back. The ONLY parts of the style that has been altered is the Colors and Fonts...

Wonder if I upload the style again and copy the forumhome template and add it to mine...

Probably. I want to use the skin I found but it seems that dev doesn't want my money. lol
It just needs tiny alterations.. colors/fonts

I did do it myself. I used his theme and just changed the colors/fonts.

I like his layout and buttons, etc.
