Importing Product, Please Wait...
 

I uploaded a couple templates and everything went FLAWLESSLY,

I tried to upload my first plugin today and this is all I get

Importing Product, Please Wait... [:]

It hangs and never does anything, doesn't install... nothing...

I've checked all folder permissions along with many other ideas such as reinstalling the plugin manually then importing the .xml file.

Any suggestions?

Questions/Problems regarding modifications/styles need to be asked in the modification/style thread. That is where the support for modification/style is - not out here in the main forums. Please note that if a modification/style is unsupported (or even if it says it is supported), you may be on your own if you chose to install it.

If you have a question or problem with a particular product you need to ask in that products thread.

It's a problem with importing products/plugins, not the specific plugin, i tried multiple plugins...

It's an issue I'm having with add/import product.

So this happens with every mod you try and install?

The 1st two installed on my old vb site perfectly about... 4ish months ago, same hosting, same server, same phpinfo file etc.

Do you have alot of posts and members on the site?

I have ZERO members/posts at the moment, I've already tried reinstalling the full forum system with a brand new Database also.

Ugh, that just made it worse... It installed with ease..

Ok, then if you want, PM me a link to the site, and a admin account, and I will see if I can import the above mods. This will see if it is something on your end, or the server/site end.

I removed all the files for 2/3 mods, The one I'm really frustrated with is the dbtech Twitch.tv Integration one. I think that one is an issue with DBTech coding on it, I've reading their forums and see there are SEVERAL people having that issue at the moment.

So I am reverting back in the DB to BEFORE i tried to upload that one and i'm going to try the other 2 mods without the twitch one as it seems that may be the cause for all of these issues.

Ok let me know, if it still fails you can do as I asked, and FTP info as well, so I can ensure the proper files are there.
