Advanced search function problem- pop up blank.html on load!!

Every time I put in a users name it says nothing can be found (Found that after the system refreshes they show up). When I click on the back button I get a popup box that says blank.html... how do I fix this??

EDIT: The main concern is that when I click on Advanced Search I get a blank.html pop up - code below.... what exactly is this???

Does the same thing happen with all mods disabled?
Does it happen on a unmodified default style?
What vB4 version and PHP version?

Ok, I narrowed it down to this:

In search_common I show this code:

This is causing the pop up when you click on advanced search. What exactly is this?????

I have no idea. How would I know? I disabled all mods and used the original template (switched from custom) and it still does it..

Ah I found the stuff in the template, but I have no clue why it would cause that, I do not have that issue. :(

When I removed the code the pop up went away. It only seems to do it in Fire Fox not IE, as far as I can tell. What should I do? I don't want users to get spooked thinking its a virus or something. How can I keep it from popping up, and what exactly is it calling? The blank.html...

Ozzy - need some help. You said your site has the same??? Over on vbulletin.com they are saying that that code is an iFrame "compromise" and I have a virus???? Is that true?? Thanks!

Can't be, the code is in the stock search_common template.

Can I remove it? What does the code do? Thanks again! Is there anyway to find out why its calling for a pop up?

No you should not remove it, I do believe it is needed to set the ajax.

Did you test it all ways in post #2, and the same issue still happens?

Yes. Lynn had me set up a default template and it still happened...

Can I just remove this part of the code: src="clientscript/yui/history/assets/blank.html

I'll try disabling the mods again, maybe I missed something...

If it happens with all mods disabled, and on a unmodified style, then maybe you need to open a ticket, removing anything is not the right solution.
