Ohhh joy, just what we needed, another unsupported style, for a outdated version of vB, and one that does not even belong to the OP.

So should you, instead of trying to get status of of someone elses work. But thanks for sharing anyway, it is nice to see new stuff on here. :)

I don't see the point of adding mods or styles which aren't your own work
There are lots of free styles over the net for vB but you don't see others posting them up here.

Maybe because they use nulled vbulletin software but they make nice skins? And they cant post them here because they dont have licence. I got permissions BTW. Dont be rough, I am trying to share some nice skin and this is what I get?

If they are using nulled vBulletin software they are criminals, software pirates.

But I am not, these skins were made 100% by them and they allowed me to share.

You said they could not post them here because they don't have a license and are using nulled software. This makes you a accomplice, a conduit for their illegal activity.

A software pirate creates a skin based on his illegally obtained software. Gee, he cannot distribute here because he doesn't have a license. Therefore you, by distributing it for him, are a partner in the illegal activity. A conduit.

Creating skins is not illegal, pirating software is. You are linking to the nulled site, correct? The nulled site is in the footer of the style, correct?

I for one would not install something that was pirated, or made on pirated software, no telling what could be in there. Besides the fact that it's just wrong. :(

Yeah they used vbulletin nulled (that doesnt mean we cant be friends) but they didnt use their site to make this skin. They use vbhispano.com and you can go and ask (if you know spanish) and see if they use a null software.

I said: they used vbulletin nulled(4 years ago and the site no longer exists). However they make nice skins and they used vbhispano.com (a legal site) to develop those skins.

They can't post it here because they are unlicensed, is what you said. They make nice skins but can't post them here.

IMO, something posted on a screenshot of facebook does not mean there is written permission. Who is to say that that is the original developer. There should be some kind of communication via the board where the style was released. And if asked, provide that info to a staff member, to verify the transfer of ownership, or the ability to post anywhere.

Just my 2cents, not trying to start anything here. :)

I agree with you ozzy, that was my fault for trying to share, but thats fine :D I removed the link to the skin because nobody likes it. :D

It's not that people don't like it or don't appreciate sharing, it just that we have legitimate, honest questions about it.

That don't mean don't share stuff, just be careful with what you do share. Also be prepared to cover your butt, cause when you release someone elses work, this sort of thing is bound to happen, even if you have permission.

There has been alot of people on here that illegally release others work, so the members here are a little apprehensive when they see stuff like this.

The site does need new styles / mods released here, so I would try and find some unique stuff, make sure you have the proper permission, and try to release stuff that can be supported. There is way to many styles / mods on here that are in need of serious updates, but the authors have abandoned them.

Nothing else to do now, guess time to log off the Forum till ZUCCO releases something else which isn't his.:D
