HI There
i change the folder name, and then in change it in config file
any help ?
thanx

ozzy47 11-02-2013 11:46 PM

It should work like that if both names are the same. Clear your browser cache, and cookies, then navigate to the new cap link and try again.

ozzy47 11-03-2013 12:10 AM

Ok hopefully it will work.

Seleno 11-03-2013 12:18 AM

its not working, this happen since about 3 weeks till now !
i can't save anything or make new forum !

Seleno 11-03-2013 12:18 AM

thank you very much for trying to help !

ozzy47 11-03-2013 12:20 AM

So it did not work?

ozzy47 11-03-2013 12:33 AM

I would try disabling all mods and see if you still get the same results.

Open your config.php and below<?php add this line:

PHP Code:

 define('DISABLE_HOOKS'true);

So it looks like this:
PHP Code:

<?php
define
('DISABLE_HOOKS'true);

Upload the entire adminCP FOLDER and allow overwrite.

ozzy47 11-03-2013 12:40 AM

Wait, your forum is running 4.1.12 and you posted in the vB3 section?

Max Taxable 11-03-2013 12:42 AM

Also, make sure you are renaming the adminCP folder to the same name you changed the URL to, before uploading.

Seleno 11-03-2013 12:46 AM

hi there
thanx for trying to help me, i did but its not working !

i still can't add new forums or edit old forums
the problem only in admin control panel

ozzy47 11-03-2013 12:53 AM

Ok then go to your customer area on vb.com, grab the files that is the same for the version you are running. Then upload the files in the admincp folder to your server, overwriting the ones that are there.

Make sure it is the same version you are running.

Seleno 11-03-2013 12:53 AM

sorry this is mistake then , this problem take my mind away !

ozzy47 11-03-2013 12:55 AM

What version of PHP are you running?

Seleno 11-03-2013 12:58 AM

i this this, and i will do again
i dunno whats the problem really
and vbulletin support only 4.2.2 !

Seleno 11-03-2013 01:06 AM

ozzy i forget to tell you that some one tried to hacked my forum before this problem

and may be this problem from permissions
but i can edit or delete in forum
its only in forum admin

dunno which php version really

ozzy47 11-03-2013 01:40 AM

ACP --> Maintenance --> View PHP Info

Seleno 11-03-2013 01:52 AM

PHP Version 5.2.17

i don't understand what you mean mr Max Taxable
i replaced the admincp file and didn't work !

ozzy47 11-03-2013 01:56 AM

I don't know then, maybe rename your acp folder to the original name, and change it in the config file, and try it that way.

Seleno 11-03-2013 02:08 AM

If you re-named the URL but not the folder too, your adminCP will not load.

Please provide a link to your forum?

UPDATE:

Just to fix any damage a hacker might have done, follow the links below, and go through them thoroughly.

First you need to follow the vB advisory about deleting the install folder completely off your server.

Then please read the following two blog posts and follow the directions and procedures within, to the letter:
http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/blogs...ve-been-hacked

http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/blogs...vbulletin-site

Seleno 11-03-2013 11:50 PM

this didn't work still can't save any action !
do you know from where to download english language file for 4.1.2 ?

New Joe 11-04-2013 12:02 AM

The best bet is to either ask your hosting to take a look, but a lot of the cheaper hosting aren't that helpful or just pay someone to fix it. It's worth the money, I know i've been there before.

Seleno 11-04-2013 12:08 AM

Max, can i upload new copy of the forum and use my database info ?
this will work ha ?

i installed new forum and use the config.php for the old forum, and admincp in the new forum is working fine

dunno what do do for the old forum to use as before !

should i remove the old folders and install new with using the database ? thats all ?
