I made that menu, you need to integrate multi level menu css with Vbulletin template to make a menu like that.

If have good invitations I will consider.

You can make the menu with this script,

Code:

http://www.javascriptkit.com/script/script2/jkmegamenu.shtml
Only drawback is any mods you use, that have navigation elements, will have to be manually added to the code. You would also need to wrap conditionals around the items, for which groups you would want to see them.

It's exact, as Ozzy mentioned, you need to have a css multi level menu to integrate with your navigation template in vbulletin style.

Did you create your theme yourself? or did you get it custom made? it's amazing!

Yes, I did. I made it from vbulletin default theme. Thanks for reviewing.

K4GAP 10-18-2013 02:40 AM

One thing about this style is unless you have the members/content to fill in the blocks it wouldn't look as nice. In this case this site has plenty of both.

Again, love it.

watty005 10-18-2013 01:42 PM

How many hours roughly did it take you to get your forum from the 'default' look, to what you have now? Regards.

I think your suggestion is good idea to build theme suite to mobile device, I will try that soon.

ringnews24 04-18-2014 09:59 AM

I like you website its easy on the eye.

The shade of green looks a bit of a less modern colour.

Vbulletin has already integrated mobile style for styles, if you don't make your theme responsive, you can use it as a good option

I'm using 4.x.x and did it by myself. I don't want to have problem about copyright on theme thus I designed it from vB theme default, make it simple, easy to navigate for users and unique with other forums.

Anyone has other reviews?

Agree with this idea. This should be applied for any vB forums, it will attract viewers easy to navigate forum easily

webmastersun 10-16-2014 05:44 PM

I changed font, colors and header of forum, it's better than old color?

socialteenz 10-26-2014 04:00 PM

Site looks very clean inspite of so many ads, but these are the areas i would work if i had owned this site.

1) A better forum icons/would have them removed, it looks too clustered out there.
2) Little more tweak on the forum row table, i mean by adjusting some colors and i would prefer the same font except for the titles.

Overall good job buddy.

You can own this site by joining our forum staff. I am looking for Moderators for it :)

BTW, which/where colors do you want to adjust?
forum icons should use old/new icon as vbulletin default style?

Thanks for your offer, i am too lazy and won't be able to fulfill my duties.

I would prefer your custom old/new forum icons to maintain the simplicity and uniqueness of your forum.

I mean on the forum row table, the title font is taking too much of space and you can reduce them and tune them up a bit to something like this.

I expanded forum width so that I think title forum font is not too big compare to site overall, please check if it's ok with you

Can I know why username color on your screenshot is black?
You change on your Graphic software or it's showed on your browsers
because it's dark blue on my forum :)

TommyHara 11-27-2014 11:42 PM

Awesome site, I didn't think it's a vb site. looks great!

Gio~Logist 01-27-2015 02:09 AM

I'm a big fan of the navigation drop downs, although I would modify the header a bit more to make it cleaner. Also, when you scroll and the navigation sticks, that should extend 100%. I like the unique forum icons, that's always the way to go, makes it more user friendly.

I see that you have the space up top to sort latest threads based on category. You seem to have a lot of decent content. With this much content, why don't you have a homepage that showcases all of it in a better way as oppose to limiting yourself to tabs in a 3 inch area on your forum page itself?

Examples:
http://chefclub.net/
http://www.digitalweddingforum.com/
http://www.pearl-guide.com/
http://www.quilledcreations.com/

It's easier for me if I do according to this way, extend 100% by browser width, but I tried and realized that fit to forum width looks better and I have more changes on CSS to do that.

You mean I should have a homepage to cover all information into a place instead of using "Webmaster Sun Forum Statistics" under forum header, right?

I made my forum theme responsive theme now.

Honestly, I didn't use mobile style which made from vBulletin, responsive is better than a mobile style if compare to get better rankings on search engine and user experience. :)
