[OzzModz] Admin / Mod Pm Permission Override

Here is a small modification you can use to allow admins and moderators send PM's to users, regardless of permissions or settings for the receiver.

So usergroups set with this mod will be able to send PM's to users even if the following is true.

• The receiver has ignored the sender.
• The receivers inbox is full.
• The receiver has PM's turned of in their usercp.

It is a simple installation, just import the product XML, product- ozzy_pm_perms_override

You can edit the options under the settings, Ozzy: PM Perms Override Settings

Complete Feature List

• Option to disable the mod completely.
• Option to set which usergroups you would like to be able to PM members regardless of the receivers PM permissions.

What does 'Marking As Installed' do ?

* It helps you to stay on top of updates - members who have installed modifications will be notified whenever new updates are available.

* For security issues - vbulletin.org will contact all members who have installed a modification whenever a security issue is brought to their attention.

* Marking a modification as installed also helps me know how many people are using my work, giving me extra incentive to provide more features and new modifications.

Question,... I havent tested this, but maybe as an idea for the future, it seems there needs to be functionality along with this, that ensures a member can always REPLY to these override pm's, regardless of vb or user settings/limitations.

(my apologies if it is already in there, or will work anyway, I havent tested this, nor looked in the code)

I doubt that it will let you reply, in some situations, but that is a interesting idea, I will have to take a look when I have a chance.

Will this conflict with your superPM mod, in particular the PM blocking feature?

This really should be another option in the superPM mod???

No, if a user is on the block list of that mod, they will still not be able to send a pm to the user.
