Today's Posts on Nav Bar, and Subscription button
I am wondering if there is a way to move "Today's Posts" to sit right next to "New Posts" on the header nav bar?
Is there someone that could do this for me? Also, is there a way to have a "Subscribe" button opposite side of screen of "New Thread" when you are in the area where you title and message page? Like the new vBulletin.com vb5 version shows a "subscribe" button on right hand side of this screen -- opposite from New Thread. I can get around some stuff if I am told LITERALLY step by step how to do it... but I am not that great with getting in to the more in depth coding kind of stuff. So if someone out there could help me with this, it would be greatly appreciated! If you want to take a look and see what my home forum page looks like: www.nomusclesnolimits.com All of my requests I posted today are for a GOOD CAUSE... this forum is for all people living with a neuromuscular disease ... to hopefully one day be a HUGE resource for people living with these diseases (ALS - Aka: Lou Gherigs, all forms of Muscular Dystrophies - Duchenne, Spinal Muscular Atrophy, etc.) So any help would be appreciated greatly! |
Anyone that can help me with this? I now have 1/3 of the threads I posted fixed!

I don't see either "Today's Posts" or "New Posts" in your navbar?
Oh sorry about that, that is because you are not a member.

Yeah I have not got the confirmation email yet.
Ok.. just to double check on my settings (we are supposed to launch tomorrow) you can't see anything on there correct? Just the main forum for right now, before I accept your membership?
I can see the main forum, a couple of tabs, and all the forums are private.
ok thanks... you still waiting?
Yup, got the email, and verified it, now it is in moderation.
Ok, done... you are in.
You can just use the navigation manager.

Today's Posts is listed under the Quick Links drop down menu. I want Today's Posts to sit right next to New Posts (to the right of it)
Ahh, ok, then you would need to disable the Today's Posts in the Navigation Manager, and re create it as a link in the Navigation Manger for the Forum Tab, and set the order to one number more than New Posts is.
Ok, thanks I will try it. I will keep you on until I have it complete, and then also after my other thread.
--------------- Added [DATE]1372029084[/DATE] at [TIME]1372029084[/TIME] --------------- GREAT!!!! GOT IT DONE!! I didn't have to re-create anything, just gave me the option to move it! I had never drilled down by clicking on the main tab links to view all the things underneath! Whew! Now I know how to move things where I want them! Help request 2/3 done! Ozzy you have been so helpful! |
Not a problem, I actually forgot about the ability to just move it.
What about a subscribe button? I totally forgot, this was kind of the second part to my question.
