[PVR] Forum Radio Player v2.0

Adding the following custom bbcode would allow your users to embed Party Vibe Radio's music player directly into their forum post. The player will not auto start.

So I don't waste your time what type of streams work with this mod mate its awesome.

It'll play any stream in MP3 or OOG format being broadcast by a Shoutcast or Oddcast server.

Update 1.1: I've added two new channels (Party Vibe Radio: Rap and Pop) to the channel choser.

The following new options are therefore now available: rap and pop.

Update 1.2: Added our latest channel (Party Vibe Radio: Rock).

The following new options are therefore now available: rock.

I'm looking for suggestions around new channels or styles of music to add. Any thoughts?

19.02.2014 - Updated to version 1.60 with the addition of two new themes (small theme and small theme dark). I've also fixed the auto start issue.

18.06.2016 – Updated to version 1.70.

Reviewed our radio player code today and found a few issues had crept in since the last update. Everything works again now, sorry for any inconvenience. The full list of fixes goes as follows.

– Updated the radio player footer links to the new web site address.
– Fixed broken facebook like button.
– Some radio streams changed to new ports a while ago which wasn’t updated.
– All our radio players now use the local javascript source so outages to the remote server are no longer a problem.

- Our radio players now feature HTML5 and HTTPS web page support.

I try to add this to my forum, I don't know how add this in custom bbcode byt my iddea its add this radio player in a forum block.
I create a new block (html) and insert the code, but not works.

thanks for the reply, adding target "_top" doesnt float it, just sends the user to scroll to top of the forum

i need the code so the radio is in the forum block, then if the user wants to continue listening to the radio you can click the block radio so it detaches/floats in its own window... so it isnt lost when the user browsers the forums

Ok I get it... You can do custom PHP code within forum blocks and there is a mod that allows for "forum block everywhere" But I do not think you can do what your looking for from within VBs tool set and would require custom coding... However what about something like this...

I think it might be easier to just inject the HTML/PHP code into the correct template(s). We are not as hesitant to modify templates or core code any more as the VB 4.x branch is dead and will never see any sort of update/patch from IB.
