This only posts to my own profile page I installed it thinking it would post to my page I made for my site and if posting from the page it would post that to my site in the forum I wanted. Does it not do this?

It does not post to own profile page. It posts to Facebook Groups. I believe you used your "profile ID" instead of "group id". You can try doing a Facebook page and see what happens, by using the Facebook ID. Haven't tested it for that yet.

The mod is intended and tested to work with Group ID'S/Facebook Groups

Don't have a group only page and I used the page id not my profile id is there anyway you could make it work for pages

Hi! It seems that the mod doesn't work correctly. When I insert the correct Facebook group ID the mod copies the numeric code into 2147483647 after saving - every time. Could you please help me?

I really want this, but need it to post to a page, not a group, posting to a page is a better idea surely.

Really hope you can fix this.

I think that's the whole point of the mod..It caters for private sections in the forums so therefore you need to create a private group on FB..Posting to a page would that be private?

How is it handled if a fb user posts and are not a user on vbulletin (or not fb connected)? Is the post ignored? What about the other way? Are posts on vb by users not connected to fb ignored? what if a connected user responds to a post by a not connected user?

You can't add more than 10 digits in forum settings..My group id is 15 digits long...

When I tried to install this,
I got fatel error, hence removed it.

So how are you supposed to get it to work then?

Why would you want private stuff in your forums all over facebook, when we know it's as easy to hack as it is to walk into an open shop !!

Still waiting for the same answer from the developer.

Well without getting into a debate about it,everything in www land is hackable no more so than vbulletin itself.I don't see it anywhere in here were it says "all over facebook" what I do see is in a facebook group.How you control which usergroups/users or what you actually use the mod for is down to yourself..

My facebook Group is larger than "10" digits" as well. Ensure your Facebook Connect app is set up correctly or else it will default to a 10 digit number

Yep, we had built this for a client and thats exactly what he wanted. With permission we were allowed to make it available to everyone.

I think I just solved this issue.

Install instructions
Please uninstall old .xml and install new one.

still same problem...
group id change itself to "2147483647"

i uninstall the xml file and re upload the files throw ftp

not working :(

So what triggers the "sync"?

I installed this with no errors, yet dont see any changes to the Facebook Group at all....does it take some time?

I've installed this on my site using vBulletin 4.2.1.

Initially, I had the synch working both way without any issue. After 2 posts on FB and then 2 posts on my forum, now there is no synch in either direction.

We've fixed this. Will release a lite vers. soon

Id swapping back to 2147483647 this end also.

Has this been fixed in the pro version you have to buy. Be nice to try it out first before deciding to purchase.

In PHP Admin if I edit the Forum Table and look for the Vbulletin Facebook group I created I can update the fbgpid with the correct number and now in Group Manager I can see it has changed to the valid number.

But still no sync happening, can I force a sync anywhere?

Can forum members that are not a facebook member reply or start threads? If so will the group reflect this?

OK. I downloaded this. I can get everything I post to show on my Facebook Group, except any pictures. Also, I can not get anything I post on my Facebook Group to show up on my forum.

I am testing this out on my forum that has 4.2.2 Alpha Installed.
