This could be useful for advertising too
Yeah I could see some people using it for that.
Nice Mod Ozzy Cheers
Not a problem, glad ya like it.
I'll try it tomorrow on my forum
Great, let me know how it goes.
Any screenshots of the AdminCP Settings for this?
No, with over thirty settings it would be a pita to screenshot it all, best thing I can tell ya is to install it and take a look, if you don't like it you can then uninstall it. Or if you have any questions after installing, just ask.

<i>Great work in vb 4.2.0 pach level 3</i>
Yes, it should work in all 4.x versions, please don't forget to mark as installed.
Ive installed in 4.2.1 very nice mod. Im curious though is there not anyway to adjust the width because Im using a fixed style, its to wide.
I see it's a custom style, I would need a admin account to be able to see if I could make it work on that. The way the code is set up is to vBulletin default coding so if they adjust the code in the WGO template then it will not look right as you have found out.

Downloaded and tagged. This looks to be a nice 'value added' feature for vBulletin.

Love this mod. I've installed it on my 4.2.1 site. It appeared and worked fine until I began customizing the Important Info and Miscellaneous Links sections with new titles and urls. Now I get an error message when I turn it on as follows:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in /home/bgobses/public_html/includes/class_core.php(4716) : eval()'d code on line 343 Any idea what that's about? The only thing I did in the Admin CP was to set up the desired links. |
What was it you added in the options that caused that to happen?
I didn't change anything in the options, other than changing link titles and adding the full urls in the 'Important' and 'Misc' sections...It worked fine until I made changes. It doesn't make sense to me...
I got it working - the problem was a single link (the first 'Information' option). For some reason, it won't let me put in a link to this html page on my site:
http://www.bgobsession.com/gateway/3...ere-about.html I don't know why it's causing that error, but that's the issue... |
I've solved the mystery. It throws the error when you put an apostrophe in the link title - don't ask me why, but that's what is causing the problem.
Strange, I added that link no problem.
