How to do these polls modifications ?

How to do these modifications for polls ? I need help:

1) When users create polls, there are automatic options compiled to vote;

2) A cronjob that take all polls votes and make a top chart.

Any help would be really appreciated ! I can also pay for these modifications if needed....

If you want to pay someone to do this for you, please post in the Requests for Paid Services forum - https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/forumdisplay.php?f=30

Lynne I understand you need to moderate but things must be fair. In the paid modifications forum people cannot post what they want and coders cannot reply.

I've always wanted to write a site like eLance where you have to take a test to show how much you know about vbulletin and PHP and admin stuff. I'd hop on it today if the ORG or IB would support the effort, but I've never asked.

Maybe they should open a section where coders could also give their feedback about customers, or simply remove the Paid Forums alltogether? I read the few post before and the ones that was emailed to me. At least I know who to turn down

DivisionbyZero refund me now my 100$ and publish a screenshot here if you really are not a scammer as you say.

the best would be to stop helping and let everyone one on their own? Perhaps this is what vb wants?

DivisionByZero 01-28-2013 01:33 AM

the downside for me is that i dont know who's who enough to know who to turn down and this site gets a good amount of new registrations to make it a hassle to keep up with.

yeah, I got a bad feedback because I told customer I was 3 hours late, offered a refund and finally refunded after being harassed and called a scammer for saying I was going to be 3 hours late. After I read all original posts, at least I know who to turn down

DivisionByZero 01-28-2013 01:45 AM

Can your quiz mod be hardened to something like the elance tests where the whole "problem" display is an image layer and maybe some questions with varying answers like math? like What does $var1 plus $var2 equal or some varying php code for the test taker to eval and give the answer to without copying and pasting?

it could but can those guys run it? Or understand results?

DivisionByZero 01-28-2013 01:51 AM

it would be especially beneficial if a human could physically see the question/problem and be forced to solve it by not copying and pasting the question into google to get the answer :) ... perhaps even a flash interface

Lionel 01-28-2013 01:57 AM

Elance is not perfect too. I got a lots of complaints about them. This is all new to me. Usually people come to me, and most of those who do are educated customers. I tried to do it here once or twice but looks to me that those customers here are the ones who seems to know it all yet do not understand anything or just plain basic english. I am very respectful, but do not take crap from arrogant customers whoever he is. A guy who gives you 2 days to perform and breath behind your back every 5 minutes is no fun

DivisionByZero 01-28-2013 02:01 AM

I agree. I have gotten phone calls, threats, and the like from this creep (who still trolls here today) and he's been blogging about me for years now. I want to create a niche lance site for vbulletin and maybe some of the established mods where people can feel welcome and safe.

To me the smartest customer is the one who articulates what he wants then live you alone to perform your magic. Last year a woman came to me for a 31,000.00 job. I tried to explain to her that it did not make sense. She insisted that it was what she wanted and virtually dictated me every step of the way. So I gave her what she wanted and she was very happy. But once the site went live she called to start crying that she could not make any sales. Had she left me alone I would have done it my way
