uLogin is a free 3rd party login system for vBulletin, wordpress and more.

i am not the author nor did i develop this product in any way.

the control panel part is currently in russian as is the main website of this product.

it does work for english although there are no english downloads for this product, i will translate the backend part here shortly and re-release.

the bads
*Edit* can not link existing accounts in any way
users can not choose their username (it will auto generate the name based on the username of the account they sign in with)

if a user logs in with facebook one time, and twitter the next it will create another account.

if the same email has been used already (the email assigned to the account they login with) exp: the email for bot twitter and facebook is test@test.com
and the user logs in with each not only does it create 2 accounts it changes the email to somthing with numbers IE: test25@test.com and same thing for usernames already taken, just adds numbers.

i just stumbled across this one day and it seemed promising, i try contacting them to provide english support but never heard back, although with a little digging, im not 100% sure this is the same source but i found a uLogin opensource project.

http://ulogin.sourceforge.net/ maybe one of our well know coders, could get something going with that :D

this does work with vb4 also, if someone translates this before i have time to translate it, then please release it and i will add it to the first post, thanks

also i have not tried this latest version version 1.3 so they may have changed the stuff i listed under "the bads" feel free to report the changes if any =)

Install:

upload the files
import the product

in template navbar after:
place:
then you may have to use google translate for now to set options.

After login, it redirect to wrong location.
For example :

My forum URL is
http://domain.com/vbb/
After login, ulogin redirect to
http://domain.com/vbb/vbb/

to use this system you have to use the uLogin system, thats just the way it works. i provided the open source stuff for a developer so they may take on a project with this, but i just posted this today so it may take a while before we see sombody come up with somthing.

as for the vbb/vbb
did you add "yoursite.com/vbb" somewere in the settings? if so just remove the vbb part and you should be good to go

logout of your forums and youll see the button which will allow you to login with your social network

Can this plugin work in vbulletin 3.8.4 ???

it should work with any version of vbulletin, but be sure you read the flaws of this add on i listed in the first post, i am not the developer of this addon, it is a 3rd party free script.

In my vbulletin setting, I set my url is http://domain.com/vbb. If I change to http://domain.com, your U login will be redirect to http://domain.com/ulogin.php ( It does not exist - Only exist http://domain.com/vbb/ulogin.php )

actually now that i have it all translated unistall the mod, then re install the new attachment. do not touch any options and see if it will work. you should not have to change any options on a fresh install, and it should work.

i noticed it will re direct you (after login) to what ever you have set for:
Homepage URL

but you should not set your url in the uLogin options, there is actually not even an option to do that.

Hi all, This mod is def INSTALLED and TESTED to WORK......... Ryan is a very good friend of mine and a very talented guy! I def recommend his work and am great to see his work here on vBulletin. So you guys feel free to pm him if any support is needed on his addon! (But First Make sure to click INSTALLED)

Questions to Ryaan:

1: First of all, Awesome Job Ryan.... Its working perfect, yet a few small things that you might have to fix for us users..

2: Is there anyway to avoid having "StopForumSpam.com" Addon getting in its way..
My Stopforumspam product is not allowing registrations with uLogin.. Since I am very busy, I really hope you could find a way to fix this for us users who are using the "StopForumSpam" addon...

CM, this is not my add on. this is made by http://uLogin.ru its a 3rd party add on, this is just a temp fix until i can create a new FB connect out of YAFB (which i am currently working on)

i personally do not use this, because it is so limited and can quite frankly cause a huge mess.
IE: the same user could have 10 seperate accounts depending on which service they login with.
and there is no way to link existing accounts to a social network.

i just figured i would share this cause i know there are people who would still like to use it, just because of the social connect.

as for the demo board its back up, i wasnt home and b4 i left i opened up uTorrent to d/l some stuff which hogs all my bandwidth. and as you know i host on my own pc =)

This is not my product, it was developed by the rusian site uLogin. So therefor i do not support it. I added this 3 years ago now and all i did was translate it really, you'll have to contact uLogin for support
