How to display latest blog comments in the sidebar?
I guess that I will have to use a block with my custom code. Any ideas how to display these comments?
|
bump, any ideas?
|
nobody knows?
|
You have to add a forum block and when doing that it gives you options of what to put in it, articles, blogs and forum posts are just a few.

Well, but the option to display blog comments isn't there.

Edit: If you want to use custom code, instead of choosing the Blogs you will want to select the HTML option. |
But these are blog posts, not blog comments (replies under blog posts) :)
There must be a way to retrieve comments via the custom code but I don't know how, that's why I ask. |
Did you try selecting New Replied as the Blog Entry Type?
|
That's it! Thank you very much.
I feel so dumb right now. :D |
My bad, Comments are different than Replies to me, i thought you just wanted to post Blogs in the Sidebar.
|
I just realized that this option displays links to blogposts only that were commented recently. What do I have to do to display actual comments?
|
You would need to modify the code in order to do that and I have not looked into exactly what would need to be done.
