Americans- Please sign my petition for UFO truth at whitehouse.gov

I know this site has users from all over the world and I welcome others to view the following link but I require signatures from 25,000 Americans to please sign my proposal for the government to again start tracking UFO reports and other reports of paranormal activity, as well as come clean on any existing knowledge they have of UFOs/Alien contact.

The truth is out there.

LOL..

All of course, depends upon your definition of "justice."

One of my uncles was a Col. in the Air Force, worked at area 51 for 15 years... In his old age, he did some talking about it to family members.... Bone chilling stuff.

Instead of spending tax money on such nonsense why don't we:
Feed our hungry
Clothe our naked
Educate our illiterate
House our homeless
Provide for our veterans and elderly better than we are now.
Revamp our education system

Money more wisely spent on the builders, protectors, and the future generations of this country would be a lot better investment...

Hundreds of BILLIONS have been spent on just the items you list, since the "war on poverty" started in 1965. And all of the above problems have only gotten worse, not better. How do you explain that?

Hundreds of BILLIONS of dollars thrown at it, has not solved these problems. Why?

Sage Knight 11-17-2012 11:19 PM

The US has the money but has zero allocation sense. I support NASA to a certain extent, though am not living in the US...

"dollars thrown at it" is the problem. Mismanagement over the years has lead to the system being a disaster not easily fixed. Sorry I brought it up.

It's nothing to be sorry about, it's a conundrum. But clearly, more money isn't the answer, that's been tried now for 47 years.

But what if the aliens could do this ? :)

All for feeding the hungry- We spend a lot of money on feeding the hungry- there are very few people who WANT to eat who are truly hungry in this country- thankfully. Yes more can always be done but it's not a matter of money at this point- we need to manage food better. I went to NYC public schools- every day schools serve hundreds of thousands of free lunches. Every day many tens of thousands of free (tax payer paid lunches) get thrown around the lunchroom and/or thrown directly into the trash. Every day super-markets throw out food that would be perfectly acceptable to eat but for one regulation or another must be trashed.

Clothe the naked- Have yet to seen any naked people running around.

Educate the illiterate- You can't force people to learn- anyone who is illiterate in this country is so by choice.

House our homeless - I agree but like with food we already spend a lot of money to do this- People who I know over the years who were homeless were drug abuses and mentally ill. The single mother who couldn't pay her rent usually winds up in a shelter. I'm sure it could be better, of course, but in general we do not have a homeless problem in the USA, we have a mental health and addiction problem.

Provide for our veterans and elderly better - Do you think throwing a few million more dollars a year at the current system will change anything?

Revamp our education system- If we could do this we could probably spend half as much as we do on education and get twice the results. Money isn't the problem.

John Lester 11-18-2012 11:18 PM

While I agree the US government is not releasing information about certain events that have taken place, we will never get them to reveal any of it. Even if we are contacted by another race, the government won't want to lose face and admit they knew all along.

Really when I think about it? The Constitution doesn't call for any of the nonsense the dude calls for - THAT is the problem, we shouldn't be stealing wealth from the people, for this crap. I'll quote:

James Madison, author of the Constitution: "I cannot undertake to lay my finger on that article of the Constitution which granted a right to Congress of expending, on objects of benevolence, the money of their constituents."

"On objects of benevolence" is key.

All those examples can only be taken so far. I don't want to feed or clothe someone that won't try to get a job themselves. If there was a disaster, by all means.

I'd rather spend money searching for aliens then house homless bums that when I give them some money for food cause they're starting, they buy it on booze/drugs/smokes instead.

I'm military, our veterans and the elderly veterans are actually well taken care of

Before revamping our education system, how about taking away the whole "everybody needs self esteem" If you suck at something, you suck at it -- Not this balogna of "Aw, its' okay you really did great for your 1945018209438 time shooting that basketball.

Sorry, I'm a tough one on america

BirdOPrey5 11-21-2012 10:02 AM

I would appoint Mike Rowe Secretary of Education.
