Classifieds plugin with payment processing

1 Attachment(s)
UPDATE: June 1, 2015. Panjo does not currently offer a version of its vBulletin classifieds plugin for vBulletin 5.x. Panjo currently supports 3.7-4.2.3.x. If you are running a vBulletin 5.x community in English with the U.S. dollar as the primary currency among your community's transactions, Panjo has a new service on Panjo.com that allows you to build a community marketplace hosted by Panjo.com and integrated into your site via an XML, JSON, or RSS feed.

Enthusify 10-04-2012 04:20 AM

Enthusify just shipped 10 bug fixes and features for its vBulletin marketplace plugin. No action is required. All these updates automatically populated to our partners.

Feature: 'Edit listing' button color changed for improved usability.
Feature: Members can now see sold listings. This helps sellers price their items and helps with SEO.
Feature: More clear 'New Listing' steps.

Bug fix: 'Cancel' button in light box now works when composing a message.
Bug fix: 'Learn more' link fixed when editing an existing listing.
Bug fix: Changing the title of a listing no longer breaks a listing's URL.
Bug fix: Editing a listing no longer creates a new thread.
Bug fix: Listings now support a greater range of high bit order characters.
Bug fix: Attribute values are order properly.
Bug fix: Grid/listing view choices persist within a session.

Enthusify 10-05-2012 07:28 PM

New feature: Site owners, moderators, and administrators can now moderate classified listings from within the vBulletin environment.

Enthusify 10-18-2012 10:38 PM

In recent days, Enthusify shipped the following new features and fixes:
1) Seller profile pages.
2) The ability for community members to see sold listings
3) A new 'success' message upon the completion of creating a new listing
4) Moderation tools for forum administrators and moderators
5) An increase in the number of items that display in the default view
6) Improved photo compression and handling
7) Improved handling of special characters

I just sent a PM. We need to issue you a free marketplace id and security code.

Just sent you a pm with details

We are crazy excited to announce a new feature that many of you have requested...

Buyers can continue to pay for the items they purchase using their favorite credit or debit card. Enthusify can now transfer payment to sellers via: PayPal, Check, or Direct Deposit. Alternativly, sellers can choose to opt out of the plugin's embedded payment processing and protection tools and collect payment on their own.

Here is a screen shot of the options a seller sees when she/he is creating a listing:

Any scope to make this into Digital Downloads as well ?

All the infrastructure is there for the system to handle digital goods... if... the seller handles the transfer of the digital good after receipt of a confirmation that a digital good was purchased. The plugin doesn't host and trigger immediate download availability of digital goods.

Thanks for the reply, but that what I was after, maybe its something you can consider for the future

Hornstar 11-04-2012 07:11 PM

Tested the demo site out and it didn't look great on the iPhone 5. Not sure if its a bug on the beta 10 the demo site or in your software.

Absolutely. You are not the first to request this. Thanks for considering the mod. Keep an eye on the thread or shoot me your email for an update related to a feature related to digital items.

Thanks for the heads up. We'll take a look at vB 5 mobile rendering issues.

The DEMO link is broken...where can I see the mod working?

I'd like to test the payment processing as here in Brazil things are a little different.

Thanks for the heads up on the demo link. Here is one of our demo sites:

At this moment (December 7, 2012) Enthusify just offers its product in english and the embedded payment processing tools process payments in US dollars. We just started a MVP (minimum viable product) effort to support sites with international audiences including language support and currency conversion support.

Will you implementing the option of other currencies which can be seller defined?

For example, I have a larger automotive forum which has users from the UK, US and mainland Europe so would need at least USD, GBP & Euros to be available as an option!

Yes. We are projected to roll that out in Q1 2013. It is coming soon.

At present (8/12/13), we don't have any coin systems integrated into Panjo. However, there is nothing inherently blocking a buyer and seller from completing a transaction via a coin system through the Panjo marketplace plugin for vBulletin.

aic1978 08-13-2013 11:18 AM

well... someone could prefer a coinsystem to handle different offers

but thx for your responce :)

Eruantien 09-06-2013 05:18 PM

Who is the PCI QSA that reviewed your system and documentation, and certified your system to be compliant? Did you just self-certify? Your own site is inoperable, and several of your listed vendors don't even use the system anymore. I have a lot of serious questions of your card processing methods.

I don't get how this works...can you specify "Paypal" only...or does Enthusify collect the money via card payments as in the VB4 version?

Hopefully the download link is now working for you. Or email info@panjo.com and we can send it.

Can the Forums admin make money from using this plugin as well? Is there a way to take commission or a transaction fee for using the classifieds on your site?

Yes. As a forum admin, you can set a final value fee customized to the usergroup. Panjo collects the final value fees (transaction fees) and remits them to you.

Support for listing fees is coming soon.

Enthusify 10-28-2013 11:34 PM

UPDATE: October 28, 2013 - The Panjo classifieds plugin for vBulletin 5.x fell behind 5.x. Panjo is working on a version of the plugin for vBulletin 5.x

Manoel J?nior 01-15-2015 02:48 PM

How does Panjo rate? I have read that are 7%, it is built the PayPal fee amount or still have to pay the paypal fee?

Panjo continues to be fee free for buyers, sellers and forum owners. The 7% you read about applies to users of Panjo.com, not Panjo's vBulletin marketplace plugin.

As a forum owner, you can optionally set listing fees and transaction fees on a user group basis. If you want Panjo to be free of fees on your site, you can do that.
