Error in edit post after upgrade
1 Attachment(s)
Hi, we have just upgraded vBulletin from 4.0.2 tp 4.2 and now we cannot "Go advanced" when we try and edit a post.
First we click edit post, and then when we click "Go advanced", nothing happens, and this is what we get in firefox error log: https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/attachmen...1&d=1348124274 The other buttons work fine, just not go advanced. Hope anyone can help :) |
view page source when error comes up
|
What do you mean, view page source? Meaning clicking the link in the error console?
That will take you to the vbulletin_quick_edit.js, and that contains a long string with javascript code. If I search for PATHS in there, this is all I find: Code:
?rid]){var A=new vB_Hidden_Form((PATHS.forum?PATHS.forum+"/":"")+"editpost.php?do=up |

i dont get it why are you here then ? |
Heh sorry for the missunderstanding! You can register yourself on the forum off course! I though you wanted access to the admin panel.
If you register on http://www.visma.com/software/suppor...orum/forum.php and give me your username after, I can make you a customer and you can see |

seems to me the upgrade disabled it |
The PATHS javascript variable should be defined in the headinclude template, but it doesn't look like it's in yours. This could be because your templates didn't get updated when you upgraded. You should be able to test that by creating a new style with no parent and see if it works when you use that style.

he has a few problems with his forums and it would not take that long to fix them I am sure someone will help him
