Images are broken
The images are broken they all have a 403 forbidden error. Just thought I would let you know.
|
Are they still broken? I haven't seen any problems.

No issues for me at home through UK server and ISP or at work through US server. I checked yesterday morning and evening.
EDIT: Maybe the OP had a JS restriction on his browser?? |

All images on vb.org have disappeared for me from the chrome browser on my android tablet. They are fine on Desktop ... can this be resolved?
|
Well, no, atm I dont see anything to resolve, I can see all images just fine.
I have neither Chrome or an Android tablet. |
I am currently viewing and replying with Chrome and i still don't have any issues!
|
^^ It's fine on Chrome for Windows but not on Chrome for Android. However All seems to be fine on Dolphin browser. Maybe it's a issue on Chrome (android) but other sites seem to be fine.
--------------------- Edit seems to be fine now. Chrome is surely the fastest browser on Android. Little buggy though. :) |
Make sure you don't have the Chrome extension to force https on all websites that support it installed.
|
I also had the same problem (so it isn't OP only) but now it's resolved.
Thanks. |
I still have problems, don't see any images that are hosted on your site as vB images (but I see external images, or attached images, like the one I'm illustrating here how I view vborg).
I'm using Opera (and same is when I use FF, but I took image from Opera) and I'm in Croatia. This is how I see post's here: http://imageshack.us/a/img19/6528/image000b.png As you can see, all images are missing, with text visible. Not sure why... |
Clear your browser cache and your cookies and then try again.
|
It's same.

If you right click on the box next to my username (where my avatar would be) paste the URL shown for the image.
There should be some option to get the URL on your right-click menu. |
Are you viewing the site using a secure url (https)?
|
That seems the most likely answer. The site is not designed to use https.

The problem is when you browse the forum without www.
I get a 403 HTTP status code when requesting images. |

Didn't tried it with www, always try to use it without it, if it works. |
