how do I change the colour of the red part in this pic.

I.E what's the stylevar called ?

I'm trying to establish which it is but 'Inspect Element' browser tool struggles with this part.

Thanks !

I think that's an image....right click and view background image

DougCooper 09-06-2012 08:19 AM

Not it's not an image, it's a section of stylevar that I want to change to transparent (so my background image will show in this section that is red). I am just struggling to find which stylevar it is

Disco_Dave 09-06-2012 08:52 AM

I think it's this one your looking for: Body Background

DougCooper 09-06-2012 09:06 AM

ok your right, thanks ... .BUT, how do I make it transparent ? in Body Background I tryed removing the Background Colour but still not transparent (I have a background image that I want to show in this space).

Disco_Dave 09-06-2012 09:11 AM

Lets see your img url?

DougCooper 09-06-2012 09:13 AM

http://www.ukmusic.com/forum/forum.php

at the moment I've made the Body white, but I want it transparent

Disco_Dave 09-06-2012 09:15 AM

If you'd like it transparent I think you leave the colour choice blank, and save.

DougCooper 09-06-2012 09:20 AM

tried that didn't work

Disco_Dave 09-06-2012 09:23 AM

you could try inserting this: url("images/musicgridbackground.jpg")

DougCooper 09-06-2012 09:26 AM

well thats works in some way, but the background image isn't the same as the other background so it's don't tile well (take a look)

Disco_Dave 09-06-2012 09:28 AM

Yeah just did, you should be able to adjust that to blend in within the settings you where in.

DougCooper 09-06-2012 09:30 AM

well that's tricky, there must be a way to just make the body_background transparent no ?

I tried replacing the image with a small transparent png

url("images/ukm-trans.png")

but that didn't work

Disco_Dave 09-06-2012 09:33 AM

I wouldn't be sure, may be someone else could advice.

I'm sure if you play with this option: Background Image Horizontal Offset you'll get it right.
