Avatar Alpha Transparency
 

THIS ADD-ON IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE AND IS NOT SUPPORTED

This is an add-on that was designed with vBulletin 4.2.0 and tested with vB 4.1.3 through 4.2.0. It may not work on earlier versions of vBulletin.

Dims a member's avatar in threads and PMs when they are offline or invisible.

Features

• Turn Avatar Alpha off/on
• Set transparency alpha to what you want
• Select if to apply transparency to invisible members.

This is running on my site if you would like to see a demo.

* INSTALLATION / UPGRADE *
----------------------------------
1) Import the product XML file (product-avalpha.xml) into the Product Manager in AdminCP.

2) Go to ACP->Settings->Options->Alpha Avatar Settings and make your selections for the add-on.

Blog and article comments fall into the same category as the activity stream. I'll need to revisit them at a later date.

Um, I am at a losswhat this mod actually does.

The screenshot looks like a normal vbulletin forum? Is it that it makes the avatar dim unless you mouse hover it, where it then turns into a coloured avatar?

It makes an avatar dim if the member is offline.
