Full width header and footer images - How?
Ok so I have two images, one of which is my logo, superimposed on a full width background image. The other is a full width footer.
How do I bring these two images into vbulletin? I know how to modify the header and footer texts (assuming this text will be overlaid over the background image) This is pretty much my last style question:erm: --------------- Added [DATE]1342899213[/DATE] at [TIME]1342899213[/TIME] --------------- Ok have the footer sorted (sort of but it's not the dimensions of the image)... getting there :) |

Thanks
Yeah the logo will change to transparent - just using that one as a placeholder. Once I have all the placements right I will fine tune the details... like the background will change and become considerably lighter. Thanks too, for the advanced search link tip ;) Quote:

Still not perfect - now I have an inconsistency between the logged in toplinks and than when logged out.

It's a style inconsistency I am referring to
Links with white background (round corners) when logged out and links with transparent backgrounds (or white squared off backgrounds when hovered) when logged in. I need to spend more time with the toplinks section. I have been fiddling with the stylevars but I'm thinking I'l again have to delve into some css. |
ok, and how do you want it to look? There's a lot of possibilities.

I am new to vb and this tread has provided me with some info needed. However I have been unable to locate "additional css". Any help would be greatly appreciated.

you go to admin cp then select style manager choose edit templates on the left then scroll down until you see css templates, click it to expand, then you'll see additional css.

Thank you
