Review My First Site
 

Hi,

Ive recently set up my own gaming site on - www.xbox360fan.co.uk The site has only been running just over a week and I have made several modifications to it. Still got a few little things to do but have a look and tell me what you think. I have NO experience other then watching vids and reading up on how to add and amend the site and I am the only admin.

Those two greens don't match!

also site is very slow at loading you need to speed it up alot

Banner changed and green amended - yer the site started getting slow 2days ago for some reason

I quite like it, but here is my opinion:

- The header image is just too big.
- Some of the colors just don't work such as the login / help /register at the top of the website.

Other than that it's a :up:

Yes I see what you mean about the buttons - a change is needed indeed :)

Ive done alot of work on it now so looking very different :D

The background could do with being 1 picture and not repeated .. other than that looks good

I'm not a fan of the header at all. The texts (both sitename and tagline) don't offer much contrast against that background. Perhaps lighten the color. The purple on toplinks and login sections really is quite odd too, since there are no other purple elements in the skin that I can see... At anyrate - not a bad start. But just needs a bit of work on the images.

Yes - agreed. I was meant to change the colours a while ago but now I have been reminded. Cheers for the feedback

The background image is on repeat but is fine on the pc but shows repeated on iphones etc so need looking at
