I am starting this thread for knowing each other a bit and have some fun,,,

I am Doing Web Designing & Development and running an IT Forum...

I retired early, got a bit bored and started fooling around with vb and now do vb support part time. :) I used to be an engineer.

Old is Gold is saying here, it means well experienced..

I've got back to doing what I do best. I'm the manager of a team of step in's we call the Crash Crew. We step in and run hotel properties that are having management and staff issues.
For instance the place I'm at now just had the manager locked up for having her hand in the till to the tune of 13,000 dollars. When tested she popped positive for crack. Click, click and she was gone. Next went the maint man and the house keepers. I brought in my "Crash Crew" maint team out of Colorado and hired all new housekeepers from the local area. Since unemployment is setting records in this little town I thought best to find some that would work hard and do a great job. I've been lucky so far with that. You could eat off the laundry room floor and the guests are pleased.
6 rooms are down being gutted to the studs and rafters. Takes my team 3 days from git to done. The owner and district manager are pleased as well. The revanue went from 20,000 a month to 3 times that and this month isn't over yet.
I'm the boss and I crack a mean whip. But in all fairness I treat everyone with respect.
The results speak for themselves

I see, as I dont come from where you are I would not know that saying

Full time Biochemistry student and part-time webdeveloper. I also train sloths for firemen as a hobby.

OK, I am very curious about this... you train the sloths to do what exactly?

That's the good point of the net. Everybody builds a fantacy about the person with whom is in contact, something that in most cases is just the opposite. If someone has asked me "How old do you think that is Lynne...", I have to say "25?... 26?... Max 30" :)

Just like in dating site where any new contact looks like to be the most beatiful, educated, good personality, and ...rich person ... lol... Even if my experiance is so bad on that point;)

As for me, also retired early from Olympic Airways, being hobbist coder since 1984 and last couple of years I'm trying to turn my hobby in a commercial level. Bad luck for me, I started it in a period with global financial crisis.
