@DragonByte Tech:
Thank you very much, I am finding the mod like this I will test |
Awesome, gonna tag this for now. Will try on my new forum..
|
Went to test, and don't know what I did wrong. I uploaded files properly and everything and get this spam of errors:
Code:
Warning: imagecreatetruecolor() [function.imagecreatetruecolor]: Invalid image dimensions in [path]/dbtech/vbsignatures/includes/class_image.php on line 80 Any idea? |
I am also getting the same error.
I did make sure I CHMOD 777 the signatures folder. |
i don't know if im just slow ir its not working correctly lol but when i make the sig and set it as my sig it doesn't show...and the preview wont work
|
I'm getting the above error also.
|
Tagged for future...
|
I'm gonna need more details on what exactly it is you are doing when you receive that error message.
Fillip |
I get it on every page i view for the system. Eg If i just load: http://www.yourpshome.net/vbsignatures.php I'll get it.
|
In that case, please ensure you uploaded the contents of the upload folder directly, as that does not happen on a default install :)
Fillip |
Everything was uploaded in the folder system that the install says and is in the upload zip. I'm going guess its a php setup that's making the error, people can turn off php error reporting and it will remove all the errors and the system will still work.
|
I uninstalled and re-uploaded everything just to make sure. I'm running several other mods from you that all work just fine but I'm still receiving all those errors when I go to any of the mods pages as C.Birch said above.
|
In that case, could either of you PM me with a FTP account as well as a user account that can access vBSignatures? If so, I may be able to suppress these without needing to turn off error reporting :)

i was wondering if you can make the point system integratble with vbactivity
|
That is a Pro-only feature :)
Fillip |
edited. My fault. Resolved.
|
I installed everything, but can't seem to get it to appear on my forum.
|
Did you configure the usergroup permissions to give yourself access to viewing it?
Fillip |
In the who's online when a member goes to the VBSignatures page it shows
Unknown Location /forum/vbsignatures.php Am I just missing a setting or something should it not show differently other than unknown location. Thanks. |
Who's Online locations haven't been implemented for this mod yet :)
Fillip |
I guess that explains it thank you..

vBSignatures v1.0.2
Feature: Now compatible with vBulletin 4.2.0's Navigation Manager. Feature: Rotating Signatures: If your members have signatures from more than one signature style, they can now have them rotate (one will get picked at random on each page load) Feature: Per-User Add Points: You can now add points to individual users Fillip |
Due to a logistical error, the previous version was branded as v1.0.2 (a bugfix update) instead of v1.1.0 (feature update). We feel that the Signature Rotation feature is big enough to warrant a bump to v1.1.0.
The discovery of a design flaw in the mod that was not exposed until now that prevented the Signature Rotation from working properly presents us with an opportunity to correct this. vBSignatures v1.1.0 Feature: Rotating Signatures: If your members have signatures from more than one signature style, they can now have them rotate (one will get picked at random on each page load) Feature: Per-User Add Points: You can now add points to individual users Fix: Saving more than one signature style in the Inventory will no longer remove the "Base" image from the other signature style. i have a question, is there a way i can change the images...well i know how to change them but change the location and such so when finish it ends up looking like this
http://puu.sh/WjtG |
You can inspect the parts images in the package to find out how the overlay system works, then create your own graphics for use with the mod :)
Fillip |
i have all the graphics i cant figure out how to position everything
|
You need to create all the graphics in the same size (400x200 or whatever vBSig's default is, you can find that out via image properties) and they need to be transparent PNGs with transparent empty space for the remainder of the image.
You can look at the existing images in an editor like Photoshop to see how they should be made :) Fillip |
i know that, i said i have all the images i want to use i just cant figure out how to change where there positioned on the background image
|
Then I'm unable to assist you further, sorry.
Fillip |
Awesome one installed also and one more thing should be added in that the user have the ability to add his own text like in this it will remain default as it has
Forum Name DBTech Forum Version 4.1.1 etc we can change it also i know but it will remain only one like if i change it to vb styles then every user have to use the text vb styles i think you should have to add this feature also Thanks |
vBSignatures v2.0.1
Feature: Improved logging details for Control Panel actions Change: Changed the Branding display method to inject itself into the copyright footer (underneath vBulletin copyright) instead of the page footer. Change: Changed the Branding Free Key to a more secure key. Fillip |
Update
Hotfix: PHP 5.4 Compatibility fixes This does not guarantee the mod is error free on PHP 5.4, but it will take care of the reported errors. Thank you all for your reports :) Fillip |
Is this still working.? (4.2.2)
I'm confused on what to do after installation & permissions given.?? Do i need to add images or are there some installed somewhere.? I'm not seeing any option to create a signature. Thanks ***************** Ok i guess it just took longer than i expected for the images to show up. :) New question, where do we add new images.? (straight to an images folder?) Also is there a PSD template? Thanks again |
New images can be added to /dbtech/vbsignatures/images and its sub-folders, though they do need to be sliced in a very specific way.
There's no PSD templates at this time, sorry :( Fillip |
