not sure if this mod works....first where in the admincp are the settings and second nothing is hidden when tags are used

OK - now got it working yay !!!

I was testing the product in a private forum for admin/mods only and the code wasnt working. However when i tried it on an open forum thread it worked exactly as it should !!

EDIT - no it's not working fully. It DOES hide the content in the threads but even after replying to thread it is still hidden :/

I love you for this. I have been paying to keep the hide hack resurrection-expanded updated and this could replace it completely. Only thing is I need an integrated thanks option. I know you used to be at [db tech]. Any way to hook this into their thanks/likes hack or maybe add your own thanks/groan option? I would be willing to pay extra for this.

Can't install just yet but will purchase and use in the future with added features. Thanks for the mod! Tagged and Nominated.

I've actually been considering hooking into DBTech's mod rather than build my own thanks mod. I'll have a chat with Fillip later today :)

Ok, I've just talked with Fillip and he says it is ok to integrate with his mod. I'll try squeeze a [HIDE-THANKS] tag into the next update ;)

Still not unlocking hidden content on reply :/

Are you replying by quick reply? If so, you will need to refresh the page first.

Tried both full rpely and quick reply, and refreshed pages, closed and re-opened pages, everything i could think of - just doesnt show up :/

I know what was happening. Any thread that had the HIDE tag in it previous to 1.0.1 will not work correctly. I've made a new thread on your site using the tag and it worked fine :) Try it out!

It doesn't hide it to the original creator of the content as that would be redundant :) I had a look at your new thread and the content was hidden for me until I unlocked it.

Then it is working - superbio !!! Thanks for the support David, and would recommend this product to all. Easiest auto hide mod available..... maybe even the ONLY one which actually does what it says it will do !

There's no good Hide mod for vB right now. All of them are out of date, not working, not supported. I really hope you'll keep this mod alive.
I'm testing in a few. Will come back with comments if nneded.

Ok, I'm back. Works very well, indeed but as far as it is in Beta stage I will make some recommendations in order to help you:
- when using [hide]link[/hide] the link doesn't apper hotlinked; need to fix that
- it would be great if you would integrate the "thank you" feature so that members will see the content only after they hit thanks on individual replies. If a new reply is posted with [hide-thanks], the users should press thank you again to see the content of the new reply

It seems for me iy's still not working and still no settings in admincp even with update sorry.....

Like your mod. Installed and tested it.

But i even can't find the settings in the AdminCP. :(
The option with the hidden posts seems to work :)
EDIT: Did another test, using a non Admin Nick posting a hidden Post and then try to read it with Admin Nick. Got this Message:{dmods:_hide 3}:eek:. After reply with Admin Nick i was able to read the post properly

[HIDE]blah blah blah[/HIDE] turns into {dmods:_hide 2} when previewing a thread/post

There aren't really any settings at the moment, just the functionality of the actual tags themselves and the editor buttons. The next version will include some settings however :)

Hey David, also it seems that the first person to reply to the threads which ARE working verify the product works, however in the same thread, 2nd, 3rd 4th person etc cannot view the hidden content :/
