{vb:raw comment_block} HTML Code:
<!-- FB Comments --> Now it looks like the screenshot. If you use it, please push install, rate and nominate Hope you like it :) Big thank to Gemma & Noli for help! |

installed this.
I have a question: How can I change this to use a comment thread for each article on the CMS? I don't want all the comments in each article page. I'd prefer people to comment on the specific article. I tried using {vb: raw href} but the plugin goes compatibility mode.. Help? ~Xeon1 |
Try to use this modification:
https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=239023 and set the code from the other modification below the code in my manual. |
Thanks!
Installed Can I use this modification in blogs ? and how ? |
Of curse. You must edit only the blog-template.
|
Perfect! Ty
|
no go.
it says "the comment plugin requires a href parameter" even though I did not remove your code bit. I only pasted the other code bit under it. ~Xeon1 |
I'll check it tomorow.
|
I have a methode to show the comments only for the exactly articles but i have a more elegant method but i must test it today and give then feedback (this evening).
|
Update available. Thanks to Gemma!

|
I see this message on alla pages:
"Attenzione: questo plugin per i commenti sta funzionando in modalità di compatibilità, ma non contiene ancora dei post. Prova a specificare un "href" esplicito, come suggerito nella documentazione sul plugin dei commenti, per sfruttare tutte le funzionalità del plugin." How to set a dinamyc href, working with vbseo ? |
Just installed this. Thanks!

I don't understand why but I still get the compatibility mode.
I did replace the app ID and I did add this code in the right place. Can you help me? my vbulletin uses friendly re-write mode now but it didn't work before either... EDIT: it seems it works fine but I'm still curious about the compatibility mode. it disappears after the 1st comment is written.. ~Xeon1 |
Hey,
try this and give feedback pls, because i cant test it yet. Find HTML Code:
<fb:comments expr:xid="YOUR_APP_ID" simple="1" num_posts="10" width="500" publish_feed="true"> HTML Code:
<fb:comments href="http://yoursite.com" expr:xid="YOUR_APP_ID" simple="1" num_posts="10" width="500" publish_feed="true"> |
Do you know how to disable suggest this change when the comments are disable?
something I guess. <vb:if condition="$comment_block == disable"> |
Do the comments show up as Facebook status updates?
In other words, if I comment on an article, will it show up on my Friend's Newsfeed? |
I also keep getting some debugger error.
Does this mod support redirects? I just changed my domain name a few days ago so I have a redirect from the old domain name to the new one. |
Here is the code to get rid of the compatiblity mode error. This code also sets one comment box per cms article, so you dont have all the comments mixed in alle the articles.
Code:
<!-- FB Comments --> |
Noli, Thank you! You're a life saver :)
~Xeon1 |
I'll take a look at nolis code and modifiy my :)
|
Code is fixed. Thank to Noli for his help!
|
btw. this should also work if you use the code under {vb:raw similarthreads} in SHOWTHREAD.
|

It would be cool, if a fb comment will improve the comments count on the Homepage.
