Add the following code to additional.css (adjust line-height as desired)

ACP -> Styles & templates -> style manager -> your style here -> edit templates -> CSS templates -> addtional.css

Code:

/* custom line-height */
body {
    color: #3E3E3E;
    font-size: 13px;
    line-height: 1.23 !important;
    margin: 0 35px;
    min-width: 650px;
    width: auto;

}

Thanks. Where do i find the additional.css file? Through the admin panel or FTP?

Styles & Templates - Search in templates

GRE 10-08-2012 07:36 AM

It doesn't apply to articles though. Why?

Chadi 11-01-2012 03:36 AM

I'd like to apply this mainly to the forum posts. The code doesn't work on the forum posts (paragraphs). How can I do so?

Thanks

Because cms articles use different css. Put this in your additional.css file (see my first post for location) and adjust line-height as desired.

ACP -> Styles & templates -> style manager -> your style here -> edit templates -> CSS templates -> addtional.css

Code:

.cms_article_txt_content {
    -moz-font-feature-settings: normal;
    -moz-font-language-override: normal;
    color: #3E3E3E;
    font-family: Tahoma,Calibri,Verdana,Geneva,sans-serif;
    font-size: 13px;
    line-height: 1.23 !important;
    margin-bottom: 5px;
}

You need different code, add the following to additional.css template (see my first post for location) and adjust line-height as desired.

ACP -> Styles & templates -> style manager -> your style here -> edit templates -> CSS templates -> addtional.css

Code:

.postbit .postrow {
    -moz-font-feature-settings: normal;
    -moz-font-language-override: normal;
    font-family: Verdana,Arial,Tahoma,Calibri,Geneva,sans-serif;
    font-size: 13px;
    line-height: 1.23 !important;
}

}

This seems to change the row spacing in the Article Preview, but not when actually viewing the article.

Is there any way to make this change the spacing when viewing the article?

Bat21 06-27-2015 02:16 PM

Anyone any ideas on this one?

John Lester 06-29-2015 03:11 AM

I don't have a test site up anymore, and my live site doesn't use articles. I'm unable to figure out why the previous code wouldn't work for you. It worked fine for articles (not previews) at the time I posted it.
