Never use a auto spell checking in typing out mod. :p

Thank you for pointing that out :D

Boofo 01-10-2012 05:32 PM

And what if it is a proxy?

I love that parser code.

LOGECT 01-10-2012 05:34 PM

WTF ?! Did you just paste my code at here ?!

It does the same thing, yes.

But there are a 100 other modifications here on vBulletin.org that do the same thing, as the other 99 before them. Some of them requiring more or less. Some of them outdated and other newer.

My version is different from yours

Key points:

Code is cleaner
Smaller
Uses less resouces

It's more of an eye candy toy than anything.

Would seem yours offers more in detail.

Ever plan on releasing it?

It has a couple of files that do all the OS and Browser work. It also checks for proxies.

I never really thought about releasing it, to be honest.

You should. It would be a wonderful contribution to the community.

Any added query?

Boofo 01-10-2012 05:52 PM

Nay on any queries. You should know me better than that by now. I HATE queries.

As do I.

Anything that could slow your site down or compromise things, is always something to avoid. ;)

You just paste the code and changed the $logect_ip to $su_ip

Give me a bit and I will release it.

Cool.

Upon your release I think I'll have the staff place this one (mine) into the trash bin. ;)

After all, there is no need to have a bunch of mods all doing the same thing (although yours will be better)

Boofo 01-10-2012 06:52 PM

Okay, I need a tester. I had to add some phrases and cut the code from my Toolbox mod, which has over 20 mods in it. I want to make sure I got it all working right before I release it. PM me an email or IM address if you are interested in testing it.
