VSa - PM System Enhancements
 

Info:
-Enable Private Messages Menu in the NavBar
-Blink "Notifications" in Header using selected color
-Add "Reply To All" in messages sent to multiple recipients
-Set the default state of the checkboxes in the NewPM form

Installation:
1. Import XML file as product: AdminCP > Plugin System > Manage Products > [Add/Import Product]

To set options:
Go to: AdminCP > vBulletin Options > VSa - PM System Enhancements

My notification not blinking! How can i turn off popup for private messages?

You can turn it off in your user cp.

Blinking notification is javascript based and should work in all browsers with js enabled.

What's your browser/os?

I'm running this on vb4.1.9 but I have a problem with the Blink.... It blinks when I go to my Inbox page but it does not blink on the Forum Homepage... Everything else seems to be working fine though.

Could someone please look for a fix for this.

p.s. I use Firefox browser 9.0.1

The one thing that prevents me from using it is that you can no longer access your PMs from the navbar if you don't have any PMs.

For example without the mod if you click on the "Notifications" and you DON'T have a PM you can still go to your inbox. With this mod you can no longer use that link.

Is it really necessary to have one PM link in the header plus one in the navbar?

For all users (are you sure you want to do this?):
vBulletin Options > Execute SQL Query (use predefined query)

Isn't that for the actual Pop Up window not the one in the header? Plus, if that is the solution, is there a way to do it Globally, I really hate to have to tell all my members they have to do it.

Is it really necessary to disable an existing feature?

My site is 99% blog users... so there is no navbar link to PMs on the blog page, although I guess I could put one in. Sorry I should have been more specific. Again - I like the mod I was just pointing out that it does disable a small bit of functionality that may be important to some.

I'll look into adding another PM link on our blog page because I like the addon. Thanks again for your work.
