This Snowstorm is really very smooth & looks awesome. Installation Instructions - 1. Goto your headinclude template, to the bottom of the template, add this code - Code:
<script src="clientscript/dbsnow.js"></script> 2. Download The Attached File, Upload it To the clientscript folder. works great on 4.0.7
thanks. :) |
Works great, is there a way I can make this happen only above the nav bars and not over the entire forum? Or perhaps to stop working after some amount of seconds?
|
Welcome to all the people who Appreciate this mod :)
@gmhoward - never tried what you have said.... Perhaps it can be accomplished by placing the headinclude code at the top of navbar template of your skin. ;) |

Works great, thanks a lot.
Very nice in this time of year :) I made a little plug-in so you don't have to edit the template and have easy control over turning the storm on and of. Check the attachment. By the way, I've created my own product group for some custom stuff needed on our forum, but I'm pretty sure you can use any product group for this plug-in. For example the vBulletin product. |
|
You're welcome :)
Merry X-mas! |
Attaching the product to your post might be a good idea, also. ;)
|
Boofo - that image shows how to create that plugin... I guess thats enough, still S@NL, do add ur product ;)
|
It was only a suggestion, not a complaint.
|
I did support you :)

Ok, first let me explain that I've never before made a plug-in for distribution.
So I'm going out on a limb here. But I've tested and verified that this plug-in works with the product "vBulletin". So I've chosen that one to be the main product for this plug-in. This plug-in makes it very easy to control if you want you're snowstorm to be active or not. Simply disable the plugin to stop the storm. Also, it's no longer necessary to make a template edit. Here goes nothing :) See attachment Greetz, BlackBiker |
Good work, thanks mate ;)
|
Just to be clear, there is no copyright on this plug-in, so if you want to, you can include it in your install package.
But it would just be a big ego boost if you would mention my contribution in the first post :) :) |
S@NL -
I have already put the info to the main post + given u credits ;) |
Works on 4.2.2
