has something to do with stylesheets in the database. there is a setting in admincp to store stylesheets as files. should fix the issue.

Store CSS Stylesheets as Files? is already yes

Switch it to no then save. Then you can switch it back and it should be OK.

still same...nothing changed

Have you added or changed a .htaccess file recently? I've seen some odd white pages w/ links similar after a client uploads a newly modified .htaccess file, worth a shot ;).

Well then you can in order (not required as actual steps just try #1, if not fixed, then go to #2 etc etc):

1) Temporarily rename .htaccess to .htaccess123, now refresh and check, what now?
2) Remove the most recent edit and check, what now?
3) If you never used a .htaccess before, remove it and check per #1 above and check, what now?

If your not sure which part of the .htaccess is wrong, simply remove the last addition or reload a file backup (if you backup your sites filesystem regulary that is).

Ensuring the .htaccess is correct should remedy this issue .

Hmm based on your reply I'm going to go with "It's not .htaccess" ;). I would start thinking about anything you've changed recently and go from there.

Also after your making changes i.e. per KevinL's post above are you hard refreshing i.e. F5 a few times before judging or no?

Maxii 12-04-2011 12:09 PM

whem i am copying Default vBulletin style den also the same thing is happening

Kyoshokid 12-04-2011 04:23 PM

Go to another forum and make a new theme, then go to upload/download and grab a copy of that default theme and upload it on the site with the issue. This will put you back to a working theme at least.

I'm having the same issue with this board i'm working on, the default style is this modded one and even though it shows the default colors it doesn't come up as the vb default.

I just found the issue with mine so it might help you, go into the admin cp, style and language settings, and make sure Allow Users To Change Styles is set to yes. This will allow you to work with skins, on my site it was off and i had the same issue as you. You can set the other skins on there own to what a user could select.

will try and let u know

Maxii,

You did upload the new "licensed" files over the old ones correct? This could be causing a issue and tbo you never know what's been "included" in a nulled version so you could have a security risk or two which I'm not trying to scare you but also state that for others as well - it's not well advised to run a illegal version for that very reason amongst many others.

Be sure you've uploaded all the new files from the .zip you downloaded form the members area, be sure to download the same exact version unless your upgrading here are some steps:

If your on 4.1.5 for example:
1) Download a fresh copy of the 4.1.5.zip from members.vbulletin.com
2) Be sure to edit config.php.new and rename to config.php then edit and copy over all your database details and more from the old config.php into the new config.php before overwriting.
3) Remove the install.php from the install folder (your only upgrading not installing and you'll need to remove it before accessing the admincp after the upgrade so don't bother uploading it, skip it ;)) and also removed the favicon.ico if you have a custom one already within the root folder etc.
4) Upload all the new files over your existing ones, this now replaces your old "nulled" files with legally licensed files that contain your correct license #.

Now refresh the site, create a new default style and see if that sorted the issue?
If NO then you can try one more step:
5) Run the upgrade script, bearing in mind your not upgrading however this may run through the motions and reset a few things the illegal version mucked up per say.
______________

Now if that does not do the trick you can try the same as above except you can snag the newest version and upgrade to see if that will help sort it otherwise you may need to ask for support via the ticket system or in the off chance you can't sort it hire someone who can although I hope the information posted helps and your able to get going, since you finally joined the rest of us in the land of licensed .
