Hi,
I've modified the orginal [hide] hack incl post thank you "addon" to make it compatible with vb4, so i've made a changes of that code then this mod is in beta testing.
On my forum, everything seems to work. But when i leed all, it will be a great mod.

Installation

Uninstall previous version before installing this, otherwise you get database error!

If you have installed post thanks you hack 7.82, update it with this post thank!

• First, upload all files those are in the upload folder.
• Finally, Import the XML file and then go to your AdminCP => vB Options => Posts: vB Code [hide]
• If the hide bbcode doesn't install itself, create a new BBCode:
  • Title: Hide Thanks
  • BB Code Tag Name: hide
  • In the replacement. [hide]{param}[/hide]
  • Example: [hide]Some stuff[/hide]
  • Use Option: No
  • Button Image: ./images/buttons/hide.png
  • Remove Tag If Empty: Yes
  • All Disable Options: Yes

hi, link between tag hide are hidden in code source?

It say: Please Complete All Required Fields when I leave "Replacement" blank when add new custom BBCode. How can I do that?

i have hebrew vb 4.1.7,i installed " thanks you hack 7.83 " as you said, when i post messages they showed above instead below.

The button doesn't show up in the editor. I think it's a bug/problem with 4.1.8.

I found a little issue that needs to be solved.

When searching for members posts via members profile the hidden content in a post will be displayed as unhidden in the search results --> see attached image.
It's only a minor bug, because the search will not show the whole content of a posting, but nevertheless this needs to have a look at.

Would be nice s.o. could advice how to solve this.

Maybe you tried to import the wrong product or file. This product will run under vB 4.1.10 very well.

What's your intention, the meaning of your question?

I have found quite an annoying bug in this Mod.

When you post a thread with hidden content, and someone clicks thanks to show the hidden info everything works perfectly.

But, if you edit that post the info is relocked and the thanks button is not there any more for people who have already thanked the post, which poses a problem for updating dead links etc.

I really like this mod, please could you resolve my issue? Thank you.

Which Thank-You-Hack do you use with this hide-hack? This behavior depends on the thank-you-mod.
