Well, I would point you this THIS THREAD, but if you've already tried to repair it with no luck, then you might check with your hosting company.

the searchcore_text can be a very large table, depending on how big your database is. we had many problems trying to repair & optimize searchcore_text, and found out we were running out of space on the server.

How large is your searchcore_text table?

Its about 400MB.......

Its crashed again today......

its 3rd time in 4 days :(

Has your host offered any help with this? Tables shouldn't just continually crash for no reason. Do you have lots of space on that partition? Any errors being logged in the mysql logs?

I have asked them

They told me its could be the software....nothing to do with the database......

Its the 3rd time i tell them to repair the table for me because i cannot repair it through the admincp or phpmyadmin.....

Yeah mysql space is unlimited.

Lynne 10-12-2011 11:27 PM

Mysql space is NOT unlimited. It uses disc space just like anything else. So, check the disc space on that partition and get access to the mysql error logs.

How do i check that

Can you please explain??

I am not very good :(

Lynne 10-13-2011 02:52 AM

If you do not know how to do that, you should be asking your host.

email your host and tell them that you are having problems repairing & optimizing the searchcore_text table. ask them to manually repair & optimize that table. they will probably see the same problem. most likely u need more space to complete the repair successfully

Yes, ask them how much space is alloted to the partition that your mysql database is located on. And, ask them how much space is being used, and how much is available for use. And ask them where the mysql error logs are.
